Once we’d worked out how to put it together (YouTube) it’s really effective and so much faster than the single pliers type.

This arrived this morning and is quite simply AMAZING!We have three large cherry trees and have used a single cherry pitter which is far too laborious so we never end up picking many cherries. With this product it quite simply makes the job easy as pie! Now have about 10 kilos in the deep freeze, still have my good humour and can't wait to pick more! If you're hesitating and have loads of cherry order now before they sell out. Although plastic, very sturdy and the stoner bit is very strong and sharp. Can't recommend highly enough!

Sturdy, very very quick, easy to clean. Problem is rubber washer, which is difficult to replace and breaks easily in use. Works OK without, but more stones come through with fruit.

I can say it work 99% of the time, but very good piece of kit.

I mainly agree with @hardsaver and @elskelton. Who are these other people who have simply quoted the sales pitch!3* It's okay. I bought one, had it two years. Don't know how it compares to similar models; I chose this one because it looked strongest and easiest to clean. It's a lot quicker than by hand but it does have niggles.The second year, I filed the stone filter oval so I could do damsons, which worked quite well too. It can still handle cherries with this mod btw, if this helps anyone ...

Just moved into house with large cherry tree and this gadget was very easy to use and clean. Enabled me to bake pies, freeze pitted fruit, bake cakes etc. Was even effective in pitting frozen fruit and defrosted fruit.Needs little bit of attention to ensure cherries fall into pitting space but otherwise very quick and value for money.

I used my cherry pitter last nigt for the first time. My daughter in law had some smaller cherries which require cooking with a bit of sugar. The tool did pop out the stones but some of them did get stuck on the stoning part. My daughter in law was my helper and popped them off with a knife when this happened. Juice did splash up a bit on the worktop around the part where you put the cherries. They were dark red so advise not to wear a white top when using this tool. I'll give it a try with my Stella (ready for eating and larger) cherries when I get chance and will update this review if it allows. All in all not bad value for the money. It's been a bad year for cherries in Manchester this year as we had a very dry spell in the spring when the fruits were forming so many dried up and dropped off and now it's too wet so lots of them have split.

I like it because it is the only Pitter that works on firm cherries like Bing and Queen Ann. This is my second Leifheit. The pronge broke off my first one while I was pitting Bing cherries this summer. I glad I was able to find your company.

Nachdem mein alter Kirschentkerner nach 10 Jahren kaputt gegangen war habe ich mir dieses Exemplar gekauft. Ich muss wirklich sagen, dass ich begeistert bin!Dies ist ein Vorzeigebeispiel für eine gelungene Produkt-Weiterentwicklung!Die Kerne wandern ohne Mühe in den Auffangbehälter und es wird sauber getrennt. Man bekommt richtig schnell große Mengen Kirschen verarbeitet. Auch zum aufbewahren ist das neue Exemplar viel kleiner auseinander zu bauen. Der Aufbau ist wieder schnell und unkompliziert zu handeln! absolute Kaufempfehlung!
