The pigment of the actual ink is so dark and so nice. I had an issue with putting it into my typewriter at first because of a small metal piece that was placed inside the ribbon? I don't really know what I did to fix it, but it kept jamming my typewriter at first

Bought an old (1972) Smith Corona typewriter for our ten year old grandson. Was delighted that we could still purchase a ribbon for it.It was a little difficult putting the new ribbon in, but that was the fault of this old couple, not the product.

Ohhh it worked good... if only I used it enough. Well, it was fun to write a few letters with it.

Fresh, inky, and perfect for my OG SC Coronet Automatic 12. I smashed out a pretty solid noir short right after installing. Sadly, I had no cigar to chomp whilst doing so, but this ribbon shipped fast, was/is inky, and does the job. Looking forward to annoying my neighbors with incessant clacking. Will purchase from these guys again. Thanks!

This worked perfectly in our typewriter. I picked up an old Smith Corona at an auction, and my daughter thinks it's the greatest invention ever. I was pleased to see that places still sell ribbon for it, and this ribbon worked exactly as I had anticipated.
