This has so far been great to use, the only negative I would say is the stick form will probably get a lot of bacteria over time if applied directly to your face, but this issue can be eradicated by applying with your fingers first.The positives though!!!-It’s actually very hydrating, I feel like my skin is softer generally because of this.-it’s fungal acne safe which is rare!-it’s not too scented, which is good for sensitive skin-as far as makeup goes the ingredients are decent and mostly okay for acne prone skin-it’s made my foundation appear so much smoother once applied, and helps to give an even coverage-depending on how matte the foundation that you’re using is, this gives a really pretty glow!!

Menopausal women buy this now! Best thing ever. I use this morning and night on clean skin and no need for any other moisturiser or make up and my skin is so soft. Best of all it is cooling and stops - yes stops - my face from heating up in that horrible menopausal way.

Another good Elf product. This is very refreshing. Texture is good and leaves skin soft but not sure if it is a primer or moisturizer or neither.

I've tried a few different primers and find that some make me break out and some make my make up settle funny. This is perfect in my opinion as a makeup primer. It feels like it moisturises the skin, plumps it up, makes makeup sit amazingly on my skin and doesn't clog my pores at all. Really refreshing to apply, easy to apply and soaks in nicely. I quite often use this when I'm not wearing makeup as it feels so nice on. Plus it's budget friendly. Can't recommend enough

I love this, and have expanded my elf collection as a result. Everything about it is perfect in my view. The fact it’s a stick rather than a cream or a ‘putty’ type thing makes it really easy to use. It glides over skin and feels soothing and hydrating straightaway. I’m not sure whether it makes much difference to make up application as I haven’t really used it for that, although that’s the intended purpose. I just love how soothing and hydrating it is.

Did elf discontinue? This was my favorite. I put it on after moisturizer, right before makeup. It made my skin feel super hydrated, moist, never dry or uncomfortable. However, I can't find it in stores, or online. I now use the big Vaseline balm on my face instead, but this elf stick was the best.

Lightweight and refreshing. Great for air travel when your skin gets dried out on the plane. You don't have to include it in your liquids.

I love Elf Cosmetics. I am 71 and find that I can no longer wear foundation from high or low end manufacturers. It either settles in wrinkles, cakes, or fills facial pores until I see polka dots! Elf makes these sticks similar to Cindy Joseph’s Boom Sticks. Her set costs $80. Elf’s cost between $4.00 and $8.00. It’s sold other places besides Amazon. This stuff glides on and leaves your face glowing. Instead of a dry, matte finish you get from a foundation, Elf gives you a glowing, dewy look. Can’t beat the price, and if for some strange reason you don’t like it, you’re not out a wallet full of money!

This item is easy to use and has a pleasant light fragrance. It feels good on but would like a bit of a cooling effect.
