I bought these as I was going away to Bulgaria to frolic in the snow and thought I could try them out whilst cycling too to replace my falling apart overshoes. Turned out to be the best thing I've bought all year!Not only are they completely waterproof but they are so comfortable and warm, without being to bulky to fit inside a trainer or cycling shoe.These worked perfectly in the shoe keeping my feet both dry and warm, and now using them daily on my cycling commute through some perfectly test worthy conditions. I arrive at work with soaking wet shoes but very dry feet. The best part is at the end of the day when I have to put the wet shoes back on to get home, I don't even realise as these socks feel just as comfy as warm on the inside as they do when I first put them on in the morning. Not always the case with my old overshoes!The only downside is due to how they are made drying after washing can be a bit time consuming as I have found when they are dry on the outside I need to turn them inside out to dry the inside, however well worth the time spent for such a good product.

They are comfortable and have a very snug fit.There is a slight rustling when you curl your toes in and out but that is the waterproofing membrane layer in between.Under tap water with decent pressure hitting direct for about 30 seconds.. The result was simple..The outer layer absorbed all the water, the middle membrane was a final barrier to keep away the little spillage and the third layer was completely dry.The outer layer will take time to dry unless you put it on the radiator for a BIT. or AIR DRY them so to not damage the integrity of the material.STILL HAVE TO TEST OUTDOORS IN THE RAIN, BUT UK SEEMS TO HAVE TAKEN A TURN FOR SUMMER RECENTLY SO LETS SEE!5 Stars given because the delivery was swift (as usual with amazon) and the product on the footfront has exceeded my expectations.*TIP: Maybe try to wear a thin pair of normal socks underneath these for added comfort and longer weather durability.I would DEFINATELY recommend these to ANYONE who is tired of coming home with wet soggy FEET.

Oh how much I love these!!! I bought them to keep my feet warm when I go on my Stand up paddle boarding during winter/colder days. I have been using these for many outings now - simply put them on and then either neoprene shoes or simply old running shoes. I tend to spend in excess of 4 hours out on the water every outing and every time, i get my shoes soaked but they keep my feet dry, no exception, even warm when I have my neoprene shoes on. I was skeptical at first but they do really work - last year I had to cut my outings short due to freezing toes but now I can spend as much time out there as I want.I washed them several times now and they are still waterproof. 100% recommend

Surprisingly Waterproof - Great for Hiking!- I’m an avid hiker, and so often I’ll be caught in awful weather conditions and get the awful “squishy shoes” feeling due to wet socks. That being said, after recently purchasing these socks and testing them out, I am pleasantly surprised by how Waterproof they actually are, protecting me during some rather damp & muddy hikes with some friends recently. Definitely a must have for any serious hiker/trekker.UPDATEWith all the snow and bad weather we've been having these socks have excelled themselves in how warm and dry they have kept my feet during the trek to and from work , even when snow went over my wellies on a short walk to the pub my feet remained warm and dry, well worth the money.

Unbelievably waterproof. I walked in peat bog and then some, yet my feet stayed completly dry. Havent tried them in other much harsher conditions, but I am optimistic. 4 out of 5 for now, until I test them out in other different conditions.It's been some time, and I'm coming back to give it that remaining extra star. Fantastic socks, if there is any criticism it's simply that the sensation is different from normal socks. my recommendation is to layer up with something really soft before putting these on.

Wore these yesterday on a 15 mile hike, across varying countryside, mostly muddy, flooded fields and farmland. Also wore a brand new pair of gore-tex lined Salomon boots.The first 2 hours my feet were dryish - by the time i got home they were soaked through.I turned these inside out and was able to wring a large amount of water from them.I will go back to Sealskinz, although even with those i have to wear two pairs to make sure i return home only slightly damp.

I bought these socks as I was camping on the weekend in the cold and possibly rain. To prepare, I wore these socks outside in the rain. They were warm and kept my feet dry. While a bit oddly shaped (more tube than sock shape), I found them to be comfortable, warm and on the thick side which helped keep my feet from rubbing and blistering in my new boots. When camping they were not as warm as I expect but my feet remained dry -which was their main purpose. So in all I gave these socks 4 out of 5 stars for their comfort and wet proof.

Got them today, worn them and what a great pair of socks totally waterproof as found out today on my walk.Great product.
