Blocks my view of bunnies and the mailman
Welp, now I can’t see bunnies outside of the window!Definitely blocks out light, and is good for privacy. However, if you like watching for the mailman like me, this isn’t for you!Humans will love it. Doggos, not so much.

SUPER HOT
Updated review: DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU HAVE A SUN THAT SHINES LIGHT ON YOUR WINDOW! I loved this product at first, even ordered two more. Then it got hot.. and I noticed my room was darker, yes but also very very hot. I touched the window and it was so hot. There was one portion of the window that didn't get anything on it (it was too small to cover the entire window) but when I touched each part of the window the part with this stuff on it was so incredibly hot. I hope they will return my other two I haven't opened but kinda sucks I won't get my money back for the first since I used it

Could not remove the plastic backing
I followed the directions which were not easy to read on the paper precisely and the film was not hard to cut however I was unable to peel off the plastic backing and attach the film to my window as I had expected to. I ended up taping the film with the plastic backing to my window and it does keep out the light but it's not the way it should be attached. I found this very time-consuming and unacceptable but I guess you get what you pay for as the class was on the lower end.

Perfect for shutting out light in our nursery
We bought this to make our son's nursery room a bit darker during the day, and it works great! See photos for before/after pictures of the applied window film. I was easily able to cut a piece of the film to fit the size of our window, and it only took a few seconds to stick the film on the window. I didn't bother with wetting the window in advance (as suggested by the instructions) and ended up with some wrinkles in the film, but I don't care about how it looks, just that it makes things nice and dark - which it does, extremely well.

1. Not a permanent solution. 2. Don’t use soapy water.
Installion: I’ve installed regular tint 4-5 times before, but never static-cling kind like this. This tint is easy to install & is more forgiving than regular tint. However, the edges don’t stay adhered on the glass... I had to use electric tape along the edges.Effectiveness: it totally blocks light; I’d say 99% of it. Its definitely not see thru at all. Used this on the side & back windows of a utility van. 1 roll was *almost* enough to cover all (4) windows, but had to get another roll. Also it wasn’t wide enough to cover the window in one square, I had to use 2 sections.. lining up the seams was a huge pain, and it’s noticeable from the outside, but only if you’re looking closely.Quality: unique texture... feels like wallpaper or contact paper. Does its job of blocking light, but isnt adhesive as it should be. Easy to put on & peel off.—EDIT— 5/21/21: the Arizona heat & sun must’ve taken a toll on the integrity of the adhesion.. the corners, edges, seams have all started peeling up on all the windows. No tape seems to work to tape it back down.. tried electric tape, duct tape, aluminum foil tape... 👎🏻 Thankfully I didn’t pay much for this, I’m opting for a professional to take care of the tinting now.

Yep, It’s dark
Well it’s not supposed to be sheer so of course it’s not. Total blackout. My only observation is it seemingly in the intense heat it might shrink a little because I have a little gap at the bottom that I know wasn’t there when I installed. But it’s a tiny gap. Also, I knew to get this because I’ve installed film on my windows before, but you really need to get an installation kit with the liquid and the flat edge to remove the bubbles. You probably could do it some other way but that’s the easiest way

Sun block not heat block
Ordered wrong product, needed uv blocker not sun block.

Great blackout
Installed this to black out a room dedicated to a nocturnal pet from all the neighborhood nighttime light pollution. Installation was easy. Because I had to cut it basically in half to install on both the upper, and lower window, getting the static film loose on the second section without a pull on that end, took way longer than it should have for my large fingers and blunt nails. That said, once installed, night time light is now gone and our nocturnal pet can feel more naturally at home.
