I was really excited to get these notebooks because they're useful and look great, right? No. The pictures provided on Amazon have the white information card over the book. Under the book, printed on the front cover of the notebook is "48 page memo book. Durable material, made in USA" right under the "Field Notes" title.Why does this need to be advertised on the front cover and completely ruin the aesthetic of the book? Poorly advertised and I won't buy this crap again.

I bought these for actual fieldwork and have been using it to keep a record of what I’ve been excavating, fits in my pocket perfectly so I don’t have to get the official paperwork messy.

These were my first Field notes, I have since added to the collection, buying from independent online retailers.I always carry one in my bag, and find it so handy to take notes on anything and especially making lists. It has been bashed about and felt on wet floor, and somehow it hasn't been affected. It's a pleasure to write on at every occasion and it feels good to know I always have paper with me when feeling inspired on needing to remember something.

Great note pads always in my pocket thin and very useful good price to.would like a case for one now.

Even if a tad pricey, these are very nice notebooks, and the envy of the majority of my designer friends...

Quality is good, size is excellent even for suit jacket pockets. I'd personally prefer it if the paper wan't that bright white - but it certainly serves my needs.
