Got this yesterday, does not work period. I am returning this product, didn't expect such a phoney item from Amazon for 21 bucks.

I received my new projector and tried it out immediately. The set up was very easy (I am not technically savy at all), it came with several connectors for computer, dvd player & gaming systems. It did not include an adaptor for my iphone, but I knew this ahead of time and ordered one with this purchase. I tried it out with my iphone and it worked perfectly. The sound was louder than I expected and the picture was clear. Not as clear and I hoped but I tried it on a wall not a screen, which I hope to received tomorrow. I did not give it 5 stars because I have yet to try it with my other systems and on a screen, but so far very satisfied with quality, performance and price. I will revisit this review after I use it more.

Not entirely sure why I couldn’t get it to work. I tried to connect my iPad to a tv. The device connected correctly and the tv displayed the screen that I saw on the iPad. Unfortunately as soon as I tried to watch an actual show, I got an error from my Dish TV that would not allow me to watch the show. Something about the tv trying to capture the screen. I tried to watch Netflix and as soon as I tried to watch a show, the sound came through but the screen went black. According to Dish tv I should have bought a Firestick instead.

I bought this to connect my iPad to my dumb TV to run an app through the large TV screen. You have to have a connected/charging lightning cable plugged in to make the projection work. I made that mistake and was about to return it when I reread the directions. Other than that, very easy to set up and use.The only issue I have found so far is I was using a YouTube video to test the set up and there was a noticeable sound delay. I am using this to run my Peloton app through my TV for workouts and if there is a delay I will need to find a work around (possibly a Bluetooth speaker).Solid value and works well. I would definitely recommend this item.

Will only mirror the screen the iPad or iPhone complain that this is an unsupported device. Will not play protect media, Netflix or Hulu. If I would have tested this sooner it would have been returned.

Could not get it to work with any Apple product or any TV. I lost my original one from Apple and thought this would be a good replacement. I was wrong. When you plug this device into your Apple product in and then to a HDMI port on your TV it will not let you watch any of your iTunes videos but it will charge your device

I didn't realize at first that Netflix and Hulu do not allow their content to be streamed via an adapter so I was pretty disappointed by that. However, the adapter does still play movies from some other websites that I use. It was actually pretty easy and the picture came through clear! I just don't love that I have to plug in the adapter to a powers source in order for it to work but overall, it does what I need it to do.

Sooo, this kind of sucks. I was excited to use this because I don’t get WiFi where I live. But I have service to watch Netflix and Hulu on my devices. I got this in hopes to stream those on my tv from my iPad since I can’t on WiFi or any Xbox of sorts. The app you have to use to make this device work is sketchy and doesn’t make very much sense whatsoever. I finally managed to make this stream YouTube, the picture is VERY orange though. And you can’t change it. However, I couldn’t manage to get Hulu or Netflix to work at all. I tried every setting through the dumb useless app, and nothing. It will give you the audio to your videos. But when you go to stream it’s just a black screen. It’s very disappointing. :(
