Only one time used, then broken
This pickup breaks easily. I only used it for 1 performance- very disappointed.Now I have to quickly buy ANOTHER brand. :(

Once Installed, Leave It Alone
I first tried it on the E side of the bridge. It sounded nice and full. I liked it a lot, but hadn't done the work to get it wedged into the bridge. I watched the video, and saw that their installation was made on the G side of the bridge. So I filed, and fit it nice and snug. I plugged it in, and it didn't sound nearly as full as it did on the E side, so I tried to pull it out, to locate it back to the E side, and destroyed it. Lesson learned. I'll probably buy another one later, but right now I'm kicking my self in the ass.

Nice product!
It’s a nice and useful product. Sound is clear and tone is warm. I had to make an adjustment heating the back rubber surface to make it bigger until it fit into my bridge. It’s a very sensitive mic, so be careful with feedbacks. My only complain is a little but audible ground noise, but I think I could resolve it wiring discreetly the female socket to the endpin.

Great sound, easy to install.
Bass is one of my doubles, and a few weeks ago I landed a decent gig that required a pick up. I wanted to meet the tech requirements without breaking the bank and this set up definitely does the trick. It took less than 10 minutes to get up and running. Plugged it in for a test drive and wow. In hindsight, it would have made more sense for me to check out the response before unstringing the G to mount the P-clip for the jack, but I won't be needing to take that clip off anytime soon. This is a keeper!

Cheap Product,, Terrible Company!
Ive had this pickup for about 5 years and its broken twice! I tried to get it repaired, but they will not provide an address. When I inquired, the owner said to return product (still no address) so he "wouldn't have to deal with me anymore" Well, he won't have to deal with me or any of my students or any of my thousands of Musician peers.

Excellent pickup and great support
Ryan, the owner was extremely helpful with installation. He was genuinely concerned about making sure the product worked correctly and I was satisfied. The pickup worked great on my upright bass. I would strongly recommend this product.

Full range response
Installed on a Dean electric upright bass. I was dissatisfied with the stock piezo pickup. I installed the Blueberry Pi without using adhesive. I wedged it between the bridge and body. I run it through my Bass Driver DI and control volume there or at the amp. Sounds very good.

Good product!
This bass pick-up does its job nicely. Also, Northern Luthrie's customer service is very helpful with providing advice for installation (if needed).
