Best way to keep your cool in the heatwave
I wouldn’t survive a heatwave without these, but I do manage to lose them over the winter! This is fairly floral for me, but with the beige background, its not in your face like some. This absorbs the water nice and quickly, although like many, it can feel a bit slimy the first time, so I recommend you put it in the sink, squeezing it gently, and the changing the water a couple of times while it swells at first. This does soon go, and seems to be a nature of the gels, but doing this reduces it massively. I knocked off one star as the end seam wasnt finished properly so some of the gel came out. Easy fixed, but annoying to discover while out. Probably just bad luck and a one off though. The fabric is nice and soft, and better than most, so a good quality generally. These are based on the old aboriginal way of cooling down by dipling rolled skins in a river. The idea is that the condensation of the water cools it down well below ambient. Basically it feels cooling on your neck for about 10 minutes, after which you flip it 180 degrees to the other side which is now cool again, and repeat till the day cools off. They cool the carotid artery to your brain, and so stop a lot of overheating issues like sweaty head, and fogged thinking, well worth the money, and they really do feel dry once the fabric ends have dried off, and last for days.

Needs design change
Scarf is filled with beads which swell with water after being soaked in water, the problem is there is nothing stopping the swelled beads from slipping down, it also leaves a sticky residue on your skin

Neck Buddy Cooling Scatf
Great neck cooler but I would advise to soak it initially over night or for 24 hours for the crystals to fully swell. When not using it I keep mine wet in the fridge. The neck cooler is really effective worn when walking or gardening in hot weather

Kept me Cool.
Kept me cool in the top temperatures last Friday, I think it would benefit from a bit more "filling" as the "squishy bits" tended to migrate to the extreme ends and needed to be pressed back, so not quite perfect. However, it did do a great job. Should make Wrist Bands as well!

Neck Buddy Coolin Scarf
Bought one of these couple of years ago for my sister in law going on safari holiday - she loved it - so bought this one for my daughter who after a workout in the gym found she was getting a red rash round her neck - having this cold round her has helped enormously and she would recommend to anyone who needs cooling down. Really great for the awful hot flushes time too! Many thanks C -x-

Went into the bin after a week.
This product does what it says it will do. It cools the neck area slightly. However it produces a horrible slimey substance that dries to a chalky powder on your neck, clothes and hands. It does get cold and stays cold but not cold enough to put up with the slime/powder problem or the fact that it is a very ugly product and in no way resembles a scarf. Mine went in the bin after a week.

Bought one in Australia years ago, but is wearing out. Bought two of these and they are absolutely great and better than my old one. I walk a lot so this really keeps me cool
