Working good so far!
I purchased this to use with an open Auto Pro setup with a Raspberry pi 4. It is simultaneously powering the Raspberry pi via gpio, an M2 SATA SSD hat (also powered through gpio via pogo pins), and a Waveshare 8" touch screen via USBC pigtail from the output. I'm still getting everything together and haven't tested in the car yet. So the testing setup is currently using a 12DC 5A power supply (dc barrel type). Everything powers up correctly and works well and I'm not getting any low voltage warning on the Pi. When i first got it, I threw my USB voltage tester in line and I *did* get low voltage warnings (and actual low voltage readings on the tester), which seemed discouraging at first, but without the tester I had no issues at all. I've left it running for hours at a time without incident so I feel confident it will be perfect in the end. I'll update with my findings

Very Flexible Way to Power an Esp32 or Pico Project
Using the typical diode and VSYS connection, there is plenty of power for an ESP32 and more, from a variety of input sources. It stays cool, plus it is modest in size. No issues dropping from a 12v gel battery to the ESP32.

1st one i got didnt work at all, sent it back and got a new one. the 2nd one works as it should. drops 18v to 12v as it should. took 1 star away b/c the first one i got didnt work.

24 to 12 vdc step down converter
Is a small size 24vdc converter, easy to install, the case is a good quality. I used for a DIY project in a friend truck with excellent results.Good value for the money.

Simple buck convertor without the need to make adjustments
I like these types of Buck convertors that are contained and pre-adjusted to certain to voltages. For my use I was building a halloween prop that began with a 24 volt power supply but I also needed a 12 volt supply for an LED power strip. This allowed me to have both my 24 volt supply to the primary motor and also 12 volts to the lighting without having to use multiple power supplies.
