Perfect for a stocking stuffer. I got this little mini digging Egyptian antique set for my boyfriend's 4 year old son. It's small enough to fit in the palm of your hand and will be perfect to stuff right in his stocking on Christmas Eve. Essentially what it is is some clay on the outside of a little Egyptian toy. It comes with a couple wooden tools that you're post to use to dig out the toy that's inside of the block. I poked at it with my thumb nail and it kind of made an indentation so I have a feeling it's going to be really easy for him to excavate. It looks like you can collect a bunch of different ones, and I'm not quite sure which this one is going to be although I think it's supposed to be the head of the Sphinx I think? I will definitely post pictures after Christmas morning when he opens it.

I bought this for my 5 yrs old son as a special reward for doing well with his home school. For the price, this was very disappointing, cheap and a very small item was found. I understand only 1 would come but expected higher quality than plastic and bigger in size. Even my son looked at me and was surprised and very disappointed when compared to others excavation kit that we had purchased before. I do not recommend this kit, there is much better for the same or similar price.

My kids love treasure hunts and mysteries and this was no different. It was much smaller than I expected but it was still fun for my 4 yr old to dig away at it and find the toy. Easy to use, entertaining for young ones.

I'm surprised at how small this kit is. Just wanted everyone else to be informed.

My daughter loved this the smaller size is great for kids with short attention spans , not hard or easy to crack so it wasn’t impossible or so easy it was over in 3 min.

I absolutely adored this as an ancient Egypt fan. This was alot of fun!

Lo compré para mi hija de 3 años. Al comenzar a jugarlo, utilizando los instrumentos que la caja provee, el bloque de arcilla se rompió inmediatamente, con la poca fuerza que una pequeña de 3 años puede aplicar. Al romperse, inmediatamente quedó al descubierto la momia, perdiendo todo el “encanto” que tiene el juego, es decir, se pierde la emoción de descubrir y desenterrar la momia, si al romperse se expone de inmediato.

No vale la pena, en las fotos se ve que es de metal pero es de plastico barato, es demasiado pequeño
