This would likely be a decent laser for the intended application. However, mine did not come with a pressure switch as advertised. That's why it has a three-star rating.This unit appears to be a milled aluminum exterior and well built. The parts mainly consist of the diode house, the battery housing, and the mounting clamps. Since part of the integral mounting bracket houses the batteries, there is no way to separate the laser from the mounting platform without rendering it non-functional.All-in-all, this seems like a decent laser but it was missing some parts. And the way the housing is designed, it is unusable for my purposes.

Poorly built. Even with the light off when I fire the gun the recoil makes the beam jump on and off with every shot.
