Decent.
Decent for the money. The sound quality isn’t too bad either. I used a Canon SL2 to record with this and I had to lower the preamp to avoid white noise, but that’s what the +20db on the mic comes in handy.Only thing I dislike is that there is sometimes WiFi interference audible in the recordings. Even when I turn off my camera’s WiFi and Bluetooth it reduces it but can be still present. For example, If I recorded 10 short videos in a area with a lot of people and traffic, maybe 3 might be unusable cause of the interference! The other 7 will be good.

Hidden gem
An amazing microphone:This is obviously a competitor to the Rode videomic pro (however a very different price range). It is nearly identical build wise and sound wise! I do not personally own a videomic pro, but a friend of mine does, and the sound quality is almost identical. The mic cradle is excellent, and the build is quite solid. The only slight variation is the +20 db is not quite +20, closer to +15 db. However it greatly reduces noise from internal preamps a lot, enough for high quality audio.5 stars!

Great product!
Unbeatable for the price vs quality.Great product. So, I wanted to get an external mic for my DSLR to take my videos recording to the next level. I just started doing YouTube videos and I didn’t have a huge budget. So, I was looking for an entry level mic and the sound quality out of this little product is impressive. I've used it to record in everything and it performs amazingly well.

Great Vlogging Microphone!
Great Microphone and Great audio! I use this microphone on my canon SL2 (200d) I compared the rode video mic pro. You can’t even tell the difference!

It is worthy
A friend recommended me this product. It works as promised. I compared with other similar items and like this best.

Defective & worthless
Horrible sound quality. In addition to hissing the sound cuts in and out. None of the video I shot using this mic is salvageable. Worse than no mic, it ruins the video entirely.

Not bad for $28 bucks
Not bad for the price you pay.

Works just as well as RODE VideoMic Pro
Haven't had this for long but testing has shown it works well! Gets rid of the DSLR hiss, only mic available with +20db gain at this price point!!No 9V battery included though
