I live in a NYC apartment and although I never had trouble with insects, unfortunately, if your neighbors aren't very clean, dirty insects will eventually make their way into your domicile.That said, from roaches, to ants, to fleas, to spiders; Basically anything that crawls; if you want to get rid of them mix 1:1 boric acid with (food grade) diatomaceous earth, get a 'pump duster thingy' and liberally dust along the sides of the wall of your living space. Leave the powder undisturbed for a week.After a week sweep up the 'dust' and leave some lingering under your furniture (couches, dog crate, tv stand, furnace, boxspring, etc.), and you'll probably never see another crawling insect in your domicile.I used this mix to rid myself of all insects in my home. I have only had to apply this mix once and have never had to reapply ever again.No spiders, roaches, ants, fleas, ticks, bedbugs, etc. In other words, if it crawls, it won't survive. Not for long at least.As added insurance, I also dusted the hallway of my apt building and in front of my door and the doors of neighbors.Haven't seen another crawling insect in over 1 year in my place.In fact... When I move into my new place next year, I will use this same mixture as a precaution BEFORE moving in. This will give a nice clean slate to start from.Boric Acid and Diatamaceous earth combined together are a powerful weapon against crawling insects. No doubt about it!Although some people prefer to use traps, I have found using the 'duster pump thingy' to apply the mixture to all the corners of my domicile to be the longest lasting solution, since any 'food' these critter carry back to their nest will likely make contact with the 'dust' on their journey back home.For the most part, after getting rid of them... if you leave some 'dust' to build up within the crevasses of your walls and under furniture, you will like never see another insect alive in your place.Lastly, as a dog owner, I am most concerned with whatever critters may hitch a ride on my lil' one.Needless to say, if they ever did manage to make it inside my place... they must have died on the way in because I have not seen them crawling around my place or in my pet.***Keep in mind, I discovered the aforementioned mix after I found fleas on my dog once. And this mix was the only thing to get rid of them.A very quick fix and an everlasting solution indeed!I was even hired by my family and friends to help them get rid of these insects, and we are all now living insect free.No bugs will ever bug me in my home again. In the photo and text description of this boric acid, it is described as being 99.9% pure, which is quite good. However, the package received was different than photo and indicates only 99% purity, which ACS Technical grade, and is much different for critical applications. This is probably not significant if you are just trying to kill insects, but if you need higher purity boric acid, this substitution is a scam. This item was filled and shipped by Amazon.com. Amazon should have better quality assurance program and should not participate in this bait-and-switch marketing.

I purchased this last year to create my own boric acid capsules to address BV/yeast infections. Not for ingestion! I used to buy it already made locally, but the FDA squashed it. I've been using for years. It works better than anything else simply by returning the vagina to the proper PH and it's cheap. Years of prescriptions gave me horrible side effects so I try to avoid antibiotics. I had constant yeast/BV/UTIs and doctors and prescriptions only made it worse plus lead to fluoroquinolone toxicity. Steer clear of Cipro and nitrofurantoin. Google it. This works like a charm anytime I feel off I'll use one at night. When I get clear infection issues I use for 7 days. If you have chronic vaginal problems use the week leading up to your menstrual cycle for several months. I also got a capsule maker and gel caps eventually to make it easier. Wear gloves and a mask while working with it as a precaution. Best wishes! Oh and works for ants too. Had to use it this spring. Bonus!

It's a miracle. I have suffered with ants for year and I hate to hurt them but I would wake up to ants everywhere!!I put a small lid under my sink and filled it with 2 tbs of boric acid and 1 tbs of confectioners sugar and when I checked the next morning, it was full of ants having a party. 3 days later I might find a straggler ant each day but the rest are gone.Update a month later....the ants came back, but I just made up a new batch and sat it on the counter behind my dish strainer and they are gone again. I still had the other container under the sink so not sure why they came back.

After several rounds of augmentin for chronic and acute sinus infections, I was left with recurring YI's each month. I tried everything from expensive probiotics and monistat to diflucan to tea tree oil. I bought this and size 0 capsules on Amazon. Filled 100 of them and stored them in Vitamin bottle. I have been using for 2 months and have no symptoms. A miracle! Has improved quality of life. Highly recommend!

All my ants in the kictchen vanished after 2 weeks. I killed thousands of them. I mixed 8 oz water, 3 tablespoons sugar, 1 tablespoon boric acid. I wet a cotton ball, line my kitchen counter with foil. Place the ball on it. Refill with this sugar bait everday. Change the cotton ball and foil if too many dead ants are in it. The new ants will not go nearby. Make sure to place it where the trail starts in the kitchen. For outside is a challenge because the sun dries my solution quickly. I need to add more water occasionally. Overall. I could not get rid of the ants until now, and I tried for several months. I spent $100+ on ant baits but could not get rid of them. This is really good stuff

Used this stuff to kill my roach problem. Oh my gosh, I have not had a roach in my house for almost a year now. I have used other products in my life but this is the solution to end your misery of infestation.
