Superb new grip from the STRANGE ideas department, used by the top bods at Orange and you now can get them for retro fitting. Available as a complete kit only. Kit contains 2 Grips, 4 collars and 2 bar plugs. Fitting requires a 3mm Allen key.

These grips are awesome!
My old mountain bike grips were starting to fall apart and were less helpful than if I'd wrapped a bit of tyre around my handlebars. So it was definitely time to start looking for some new ones.I looked at all of the locking grips on Amazon and decided on these. They look really smart on the bike and they're very comfortable to use. Locking grips are great, my old grips didn't lock in place and they would turn around the handlebars. These grips stay solidly in place.They come with bar ends too which finishes the look and stops your bars filling up with mud.
