I have an overly large laptop,and it fits perfectly in this case. The width is one inch larger than my old rolling laptop case, but it will fit in an overhead bin of an airplane (anything larger than a Bombardier CRJ-900).

This review is for the Alpine Swiss 17” Laptop Rolling Briefcase 4 Wheels Pilot Lawyer Attache Travel Case.Wow, this is a really big nice stylish rolling case! Super happy this fits my big HP laptop! Very stylis looking in the black made with the 1680D ballistic nylon it should protect whatever you put inside it! Love the combo locks, the top flaps are ok, I must say I might like to see this with a solid top flap that folds over and down onto the sides with locking straps on the front side as this would give better protection from rain/liquids... But I suppose you can always use a clear protector cover over it, it does means having to carry it with you in case it's needed but there's plenty of pockets to put one in.This has 4 good size castors on it that roll very smoothly, has a good top handle to pick it up and a telescoping handle to wheel it with, structure overall is very solid with good quality hardware, great stitching throughout... Just the right amount of pockets to keep you and all your equipment organized but not overly cluttered. I'm short so the first extension on the telescoping handle is good for me. I will also say I would like to see a trolley strap on the back of this so if traveling this could be put on top of a larger/carryon rolling suitcase.Still this is a very sturdy, well made, large, nice looking rolling case, plus all the other features, that will be useful for a wide variety of uses, people, professions... whether for personal at home, work, college...Regular price $ 139.99 per the lisitng. If you need/want a case like this then it's worth it and would make a nice gift for a college grad, promotion at work... But maybe watch for a sale/coupon, browse listings... to find the best item at the best price for your needs.As always I only do honest reviews and update if needed. Overall I'm very pleased with this travel case, I got it to use when I go on short trips to see family (occasional flying, train travel), it holds many items I don't want to put in a suitcase like laptop, tablet, paperwork, etc. AND it can double as a travel case, too (as there's room for a small amount of clothing/personal items). It really is a versatile, sturdy suitcase. The things that really impress me: The wheels are very sturdy and swivel seamlessly (and removable for replacement if needed!), the handle pops up and down easily and is easy to grip, the fabric and faux leather are all top quality, the dark gunmetal hardware is really sleek looking, the locks are very functional, the stitching all looks great, and as mentioned there's PLENTY of room inside!The slight issues (if any): the front and side pockets could be a little sturdier, the telescopic handle is a little wobbly (not terribly), and for me the interior just needs a little more padding. Oh and this item isn't lightweight, it says 8 pounds and I'll go with that, so account for that when packing/traveling. The quality is definitely above-average overall and I think the price is about right considering all of the quality details. I could deduct a smidgeon for the "issues" but the quality overrides any need for that in my book. 5 stars!!

Ordered this to carry my flight planning and charts. I use this bag a lot for when I am flying the single engine aircraft as I can put everything I need in it and haul it out to the aircraft. This bag fits nicely behind the rear seats and easy to strap down. I can put in all of the charts I need, my E6B (yes I know...), backup handheld radio, tablet with Foreflight, and a plethora of other aviation stuff. This case is very sturdy and locks when I have it in my car. This case has nice wheels but the telescopic handle leaves a little bit to be desired in strength. This case functions very well for my needs as I am not flying everyday and not needing to lug this through an airport.Overall, I am very pleased with this case and how much it can hold.

So this bag is great overall, but for the price, I would definitely recommend waiting for a sale. The stitching on the bottom outside section isn't very tight and I feel like it will loosen over time and unravel the material. The extending handle is a bit wobbly... I wish it were more solid, as the rest of the briefcase has a premium feel to it. The pocket availability is excellent, though, with plenty of space to store all kinds of things. The locking mechanism is solid and the combination/numbers rotate well.
