CaboodlesOn-The-Go Girl Purple Marble Vintage Case, 1 Lb

Cute! Nice weight, not flimsy at all. I use this as a nail case. Room on the bottom for several bottles of full size nailpolish. Room for your cotton balls, files, quetips and block buffers. Even room for a medium size bottle of polish remover and the mirror is a plus. I got purple but looks more like dark pink.

I wanted this Caboodle for my bullet journal supplies (washi tape, stencils, markers, etc), and it works so perfectly for that. I am so glad that Caboodles are back, because I adored mine in the 90s. This Caboodle was particularly well made, and was more of a light lavender color than what is pictured, which made me love it even more.

I love love my Caboodle! Ihad a huge one back in the day, when they first came out. That was back in the 80's. I don't know what happened to that one, but I digress. This caboodle is sleek. I ordered it through Amazon and paid about $5.00 more. They have it at Walmart, but only in real at $12.99. I like the large mirror. There is a place for everything. It brings me joy!

My daughter received this gem from Santa filled with lip smackers and hair clips.Just like the caboodle from my childhood. It’s well made and holds a lot. The mirror inside is a plus.I might just need to buy myself one...

Look, I wanted the pink one with every fiber of my being but this purple marble is exactly what I had in 1993. I love this something fierce. It is every bit as glorious as I remember it. All of my girlfriends are getting one for Christmas. Pro tip: you could even hide a liquor bottle in the bottom of the trays and no one would be the wiser. The only bad thing about this is that they call the line “vintage”, which makes me feel like I have a case of the olds and I’m only 37.

We will start with the good!*This puppy could fit an army of makeup and brushes. I love it.*The moving parts are nice and smooth*My mirror was on tight and not broken.*The smell was not what I expected from a 'plastics from China' smell. My daughter said it smelled "fresh" and my son said it smelled like "pills". So somewhere in the middle? 🤷🏼‍♀️ Either way, not offensive.*The price can't be beat.Now for the 'Meh':*The plastic is all scratched up and worn in places. I'm fairly certain this is not a new item. Disappointing.*The marbling is pretty much non-existent. Which isn't a deal breaker to me, but it might be to someone else.*The purple is much lighter than the picture. Again, not something that bothers me too much, but it's inconsistent.All in all, I'm very pleased to have this on my vanity and excited to shed all my random makeup bags.

Quality is great for my very rough playing daughters. After 3 sons, everyone told me daughters aren’t nearly as hard on toys or clothes. HaHa! Not mine! Their big brothers made sure of that. So these are pretty tough! Great purchase! ESPECIALLY for the price!!!

I bought this for my 8 year old daughter to put her little costume makeup things in, but she decided it's perfect for organizing her Legos! It's great that she can just close it up and take it with her for trips.

It’s quite cute! The mirror isn’t very secure inside tho. It has a strong plastic smell, but leave open to air out & it gets better. My 4yr old loves it. Perfect size for little things. Super sturdy!

Not as good as the original Caboodles from the 80's and 90's. The plastic isn't as strong, and it just doesn't seem as durable. But for the nostalgia and basic use as a makeup holder, it's pretty good. Can't really complain.
