Durable, light weight bag with many pockets.
This bag is awesome, smaller than a backpack but convenient, light weight, great while traveling through Europe. Lots of pockets and places for water, umbrella, passports etc. Love it!!

Fantastic Well Designed Shoulder Bag!!!
I love the design of this fantastic shoulder bag. I thought it only had five pockets. When it arrived, I discovered it had two more hidden pockets making it a total of seven pockets. Plus, you can carry a small eight ounce water bottle or small umbrella on the outer rim of the bag. The shoulder strap is long enough and can be switched from the right to the left shoulder. Most of the pockets have zippers with a pulley cord. The compartments are large enough to carry most of my daily equipment, wallet, tissues, diabetes medicine, etc. The cost of the bag was very reasonable. Thanks to this little well crafted shoulder bag, I don’t have to wear cargo pants daily. In addition to being stylish, it is also a very masculine looking shoulder bag.

Great look and quality for day use
I Purchased this backpack for a vacation to the Caribbean. Since this backpack offers the sling feature, it is perfect to walk around with while keeping everything secure. As pictured, the slang goes around your left shoulder. For me personally, I would prefer the other way around. There is no option or ability to switch it to the other shoulder since it curves a specific way.I mention security since tourists are known to get robbed or mugged while on vacations. What this bag does that a traditional backpack does not, is give you the ability to sling it across your body. This will make it much more difficult for somebody to pull the bag off of you and run. A traditional backpack can easily be pulled off of your body. The sling feature is great because you can either have it on your back, or wear it acrossed your chest where you can keep a better eye on it.It also gives you the ability to carabiner a water bottle on it, or any other item that you would find useful. There are plenty of pockets, allowing for plenty of room for your must-have’s on a day trip.My list of items that will fit and plan on having for my day trip:-Small GoPro case-iPod with earbuds-Journal or small book-Water bottle-tripod or selfie stick-Sunscreen-Sunglass case-Bandaids-snack-Passport-wallet-USB charging station-USB mini speakerEverything that I need will fit comfortably in this bag. It definitely beats bringing a heavy, oversized backpack that does not offer the same security that this does.On that note, if you’re wondering why I didn’t list my phone in this bag, it’s because it won’t fit. The opera pouch on this backpack is meant for carrying a phone. If you have an iPhone plus or a Samsung galaxy, forget about it. It is possible to fit an iPhone plus if your iPhone doesn’t have a case on it. That is why am substituting an iPod to fit in that pouch. You could very well have room to put it in another pouch. The only real bummer for me personally is that I won’t be able to bring my binoculars in this bag. They’re just too big. Small compact size wouldn’t be an issue for this at all.

Best deal of the Cross Body Sling pack
UPDATE:I have now used this sling pack for 7 years and it still looks as good as new and has never had an issues with sewing, D Rings, zippers or more. The bag has travels ½ Million miles and gone through 40 nations and it still works as perfectly as it did the first time I used it. I highly recommend it. NICGID now makes a larger sling pack for 13", 14" and 15" laptop carrying but if you are looking for a great EDC sling pack, this is the perfect choice.I needed a protected crossbody sling pack for overseas travel and looked at many kinds that kept my hands free. This same brand makes one that is thinner (less than 1" thick) and that is just not useable at all if you want to carry anything. This one has great pockets, good zippers, a hidden pocket on the mesh side of the back and then a long zipper opening with pockets within pockets. It is a bit heavier (but durable) than the others, but it still weighs very little and holds an iPhone, a book, paperwork, wallet, glasses and more. It even has an expandable pouch for an umbrella or more. I love the design and the extra holes and d-rings for lashing the bag. For the basic uses, it is a great sling pack that can attach right or left. Love the full design and easy access to different pockets. LOVE IT!

Perfect size, very well designed.
I couldn't be happier with this bag. It's the perfect size for what I needed. It's big enough to carry some essentials and small enough to carry comfortably. I wanted to replace my larger flight bag with something I could just grab and go with. Of course there's no room for a headset but I wanted this to be super portable with the option of even carrying it front-side while flying if necessary. The placement of the pockets and sleeves are very well thought out. I can get a lot of stuff in it without cramming things. Especially nice is the placement of the sleeve inside the main pocket that is the perfect size for an iPad mini that I use in the cockpit. The main pocket also has room for a full size pistol if using it for concealed carry. It seems to be very good quality for the price. They make several different styles and I got this one because the bottom is removable via a clip and the pocket placements seemed to make the most sense. My only complaint might be that the shoulder pad could extend down the strap a little further but other than that it's perfect. My wife liked it so much I got another one for her that she uses instead of a purse now.

Decent to Good Bag Lasted 5 years
Pros:--Hangs comfortably--Ample space but not too large--Good value for price: lasted 5 yearsCons:--Velcro closure on flap weak. I had to replace the hooks within 6 months.--Connection at upper part of strap unraveled after a few years
