This collar was recommended to me by my trainer (who has over 30 years experience) as the best e-collar on the market! She has used many over the years and said this one was by far the best. I have a 1 year old Icelandic Sheepdog and a 4 year old Icelandic Sheepdog, recently neighbors moved in with 3 dogs who constantly are barking at my dogs and charging our fence, which is a 4 foot tall wooden fence. My 1 year old dog can jump very high and has begun trying to jump or climb over the fence and our backyard backs up to a busy street. In many ways, this collar has saved my dogs life in my opinion! I began my training with the vibration on about a 10 and quickly realized that I had to increase that, my dog is similar to a husky and has very thick hair and an undercoat. After increasing to between 35-40 on the vibration I also added the sound, this has been enough to cause him to stop what he is doing, it quickly breaks his focus. I will continue to use my collar with training a strong recall and to deter him from jumping and charging the fence. I do not believe the shock will ever be necessary. I strongly suggest reading the manual all the way through, follow the directions, which are easy to understand and train your dog daily with this collar for 10-15 minutes each session. This collar is very sturdy and well made! It has a great range and with 3 channels to choose from you can easily train more than one dog at a time! Thank you Royal Pet for your excellent collar and for making training my dog to break his unwanted behavior so easy and efficient! I would highly recommend this collar to anyone for everything from wanting to train and reinforce strong recalls, to correcting an unwanted behavior problem such as the one I had!

This has defiantly helped our dog to likes to run off. However, I don't believe it goes 2400 feet. We live in the country so we need it to be a further distance when he runs to the neighbors. If you live in town or something or you're just training your dog to not bark, then this would be ok. Going to return and get something with better range.

Collar worked great at first. After a few months I noticed the green lights on the collar would start flashing for no reason, this sometimes would last more than an hour. Then one day about a month later it started to vibrate and buzz, this lasted for a couple hours. Actually put the collar outside as it was annoying and afraid it might overheat and start on fire. I then emailed the company from their website and followed up with a call to their number on the life time warranty card included in box. Left a detailed message of problem and return call information. Never heard anything from the company. If you don't want to honor your warranty don't state there is one.

It's a game changer. Went from a dog that doesn't listen to commands outside to a dog who is m-u-c-h more attentive outside, as well as when there are outside guests around. I love that it has the tone option, vibrate, and the levels of shock. I tried all levels on myself as well, and though the made me sit up and take quite the notice, it assured me that I wasn't providing undue pain or torture to my dog. We have a 15 lbs mixed breed dog, who's kind of a small baby, and we usually keep it on level 10 for when the shock is necessary. Love the waterproof feature-- just need to double check all the ports are sealed before the dog hops in the water. The range is quite impressive-- even when our dog is a few hundred feet away in the woods or has wandered down the cul de sac, I can zap him and he'll come running back. I am fully in love with this product :D

Pros: Like the flashlight on the end and the beacon light on the collar. Held charge reasonably well. Functioned appropriately if dog within yard or nearby at park. Vibration and audio beeps yielded excellent results.Cons: The part that affixes the shock module to the collar broke after just a few weeks. Had to try and super glue and duck tape it together. Just bought a different brand after 5 weeks. Range maybe 25% of advertised after testing it walking down the street. Recorded the receiver and pinged it with beeps. Less than 200 yards, I would estimate around 150 yards reliability became an issue and the receiver would miss intermittent prompts, quickly losing signal entirely.Conclusion: I replaced this after less than a month of reliable use. During that period, it was satisfactory. The replacement from a different (similarly inexpensive) brand lasted about 2.5 months reliable use. Probably would have just coughed up the extra coin looking back (buy nice or spend twice).

Bought for my GSD, she’s normal length hair. The extra connectors won’t stay, they fall off. It doesn’t work well on her since it’s not reaching the length properly, we have to max the number out on it to get it to work, the beeper only works when it wants to. I do like the plug as you can charge the control and the collar at once. This is the second set from amazon within 4 months, wouldn’t buy it again.

These collars work very well. I have had some issues ( collars would not hold a charge) but the company has been EXTREMELY responsive and helpful. I really like that they are based in the USA, CA. I mostly just have to use the vibration and sound (which can be set on 99) and my Kota will listen. She is a barker and if that doesn't work then she gets shock. Shock is on the 2. She minds much better with the collar on. My other girl will mind on vibrate. They are both large dogs.This company really wants to help and make sure things are right. I appreciate that. Thank you

Great collar. I have a standard poodle. He is crazy, huge, a bully to the small animals, hates new strangers and almost 3. I finally resorted to one of these and it has helped very much. Just don’t always use it on point as I keep setting remote down here or there.
