Olympiana Jumbo White Greek Dried Figs SINGLE PACK- 11 oz

I’ve been eating dried figs (and fresh ones) all my life. I grow fig trees on my property.Excellent flavor, plump, great flavor, not dried up and unpleasant flavor like many others, but super expensive!!

These figs were absolutely delicious! Nicely dried, but still quite tender. Not tough or leathery at all. With a delicate fig flavor. I LOVED them!

I ordered these figs to use in a Greek salad recently. We were having a Greek wine and food dinner for friends and found a delicious recipe for a salad using Greek figs. Having no experience with figs I ordered these figs and found them to be quite delicious. I chopped them up and added them in along with apples and feta....yummy! The other nice thing about this purchase is that I had a question about proper storage of the figs. I sent an email to the company through their site and received a quick and precise response.

These are very fine quality white figs but they are not super sweet as sometimes figs sun dried can be

I have bought these Olympiana figs at Market Basket and they were wonderful! Since I’m a senior and staying at home presently due to the coronavirus outbreak, I thought I’d splurge and spend double the usual store cost to buy them on Amazon. Big mistake! Same old third party seller problem! For the last two Christmases, my Arizona based daughter has sent me See’s candy, and both times it came looking dry, grey,and crumbly - OLD - like the figs. This was the last try - I will never buy another food item on Amazon.

In all honesty, I could not wait to receive these, there is nothing like Greek Evia figs!! However, for the price of $14 per small batch, I was expecting much better.The figs I received were not freshly picked this past fall. Instead, they were from a batch picked in 2019. It's 2021. And some of the figs definitely appear to be in a questionable state.Although you can store dried figs for quite some time (1 year recommended)...for $14 a pack, the least they could give me was a pack of figs from a fall of 2020 batch.

These figs were OK but not great. I've bought this brand before and this batch (I have thus far only opened and eaten one of four packages received) was not as good as others I have had previously . These figs are usually very firm and dry skinned but these are a little on the soggy side) one fig was about half decayed and had to be thrown away. I'm guessing that they have been hanging around for a while or were not stored correctly. I'm hoping the other three packages will be more enjoyable.That said shipping time and presentation was fine.

Seriously. Snacks were sugary things like Swedish Fish, Spice Drops, Cinnamon Bears...and that was bad. A friend introduced me to these on a Zoom call. Not a formal introduction, mind you. No...another was talking on the call and he, in his silent Zoom square, proceeded to unknowingly upstage the presenter as he unwrapped his Olympiana dates (I screenshot his square to figure out it was you) like a patient boy on Christmas morning. Savoring every twist of the cellophane. Delighting in its elegance. Once to the fruit, he pinched a top and gently raised it to his mouth. His eyes rolled back, he chewed, he smiled, it seemed after awhile he started giggling to himself. He had an air of true satisfaction. I bought two packages while the speaker hammered on. I don't even know what Swedeish Fish are any more.
