440C blade at a very good price!
As a materials scientist, I care about the quality of the steel in a knife. This one is made of 440C, which is recommended by many experts and theoretically offers good hardness and resistance to both wear (i.e. keeps an edge well) and corrosion (i.e. doesn't rust easily). Getting a 440C karambit for this price is a great deal, so I went ahead and bought it.The blade came fairly sharp and I must say it's very well designed. The retention ring is comfortable and keeps your grip secure while the second ring is useful for precision work (don't use it in a self defense situation though, as it decreases your reach quite a bit). The knife is very comfortable and balanced in both the reverse and forward grip styles. It's a bit on the heavy side but nothing that inhibits its utility. There is a spiky bit on the retention ring that I don't quite like because it does make it more difficult to switch to an extended grip quickly while you hold the karambit in a reverse grip, though it can still be done. The kydex sheath looks sturdy.I should also point out that the item description is wrong. 440C is not a high carbon steel, it's a martensitic stainless steel. It's a higher quality steel than carbon steel, so this description is actually underestimating the product.Overall, I loved this knife, it's great for self-defense or utility at a good price. Just make sure you are adequately trained (consider getting a training karambit and learning from an expert), because as an inward-curved bladed tool it has the potential to be quite dangerous to its user if handled incorrectly.

This is a SERIOUSLY great piece of steel for the $ !!!
Okay... wow.. This is just an awesome blade. One of the sharpest (stock, out of the box) blades I've ever received. A few strops on the ol' leather and it will shave. All of my long and short blades are top of the line, only the best steel, 1095, 1195, a layered steal (or what they're calling Damascus nowadays) German, or at the least D2. I'd heard about the 440C steal being a really good metal (not to be confused with the cheap 440 stainless steel used for making forks and spoons) and everything I'd been looking to try is in THIS knife. This double holed Karambit is just about the best working/tactical blade I've ever bought for under $50. It is a real deal at this price: the presentation is really good, nice box, just put a bow on it, and put it under the tree, no wrappings necessary. This, With Armour knife, is larger than my other Karambit baldes. The blade is exactly 4 inches from the grip to the tip, so that, and the fact that the Karambit being considered a 'tool' you can carry this knife (I'm almost sure) concealed. It's a super sleek, and darkly beautiful design. Having that extra ring at the hilt is kinda awkward just yet, but your hand is definitely not going to slip forward or backward during use (wet or dry work.) The poly' checkered and grooved handle has a really secure feeling. But I had to turn the 'belt-molle-clip' horizontal because the (very large) glass breaker on the end instantly dug into my ribs trying to wear it vertically, but once it was turned, it rides super comfortable! and hangs balanced. NOTE: The screws are a #10 TORCS BIT.. NOT an allen screw, NOT a six point screw nor, as I read once, a "star" bit! The screws have Locktite on them so make sure to use the right bit or you'll just mess it up, which would be a real shame. The kydex sheath is fitted excellently! The "snap!" you hear when pulling the blade out or back in is juuuust right. It would take some really bad circumstance to knock the blade out of this sheath, but it's not too tight either; and it goes back in firmly *klick*. . I am very pleased with the speed that the seller, and Amazon got this new addition to my collection delivered to my doorstep. I really can't get all the good features of this fierce K into a guideline review, so, on my word as a really serious blades collector, this is a GOOD ONE!

Good knife
I have been a fan of knives made in USA for over 5 years, I love them because of the excellent quality and amazing design. However, I’m shocked recently by this karambit knife Terminator which is made in China! The grip is more textured than expected. I have medium sized hands and it perfectly held in my hand. The end of the full tang handle is a large ring and a solid crusher, which is perfectly useful. I’m a huge fan of G-10 on knives. I think the black G-10 handle design is attractive and awesome. The steel this knife used is a tough and well treatment steel. I am not good at differentiating varieties of steels, but I think this knife is ok for my outdoor adventures because I have using it for a long time. The edge is well held and sharp so for. The sheath is a perfect piece. It’s molded kydex and heavy duty. the blade is well protected in it, and will not fall out. The sheath has a solid clip so I can carry the knife easily. It is my first karambit knife, I am excited and I think it was a great and worthful deal.

I love it, but it is a little uncomfortable
This knife is by far the best Karambit I've ever owned. Its got a good weight to it, feels great in the hand. Its blade is razor sharp. So sharp that it won't hesistate to cut just about anything. I like that in a new knife. Next is the design, which is awesome. I love the dual holes, I can switch it from a tool to a weapon with ease. And the handle is big enough to support my large hand either direction. The sheath is alright. I feel the clip would be better replaced with a latch. It takes a little practice getting the draw down without pulling out the sheath too. What I really dislike is the extra spike on the end of the loop though. It makes it a little difficult to wear the knife in a versitile way. Keeps poking my arm, unless its worn in the very back. Could probably be solved by a better belt clip though. All in all great knife. Would buy again. Wish I could have bought two more for my brothers, but they are currently unavailable.
