As a complete beginner learning the guitar I found I was holding the neck of the guitar down with my left thumb meaning I could not press the strings down properly on each fret and my thumb hurt. I read that a foot rest would enable beginners to hold the guitar closer and maintain control of the neck without supporting with the thumb. I took the plunge and bought this (there are cheaper out there) wow what a difference, an immediate improvement, the fingers on my left hand were free to move as needed, and I hit more notes with greater accuracy (youiscian). For me worth the money, sturdy, compact, multiple hight adjustments and definitely helps improve playing ability.

I had been looking for a good footstool for guitar playing for some time and opted for this one, based on the positive reviews on Amazon. I am really pleased I did. It is collapsible (so easy to take with me to practice sessions). It is also adjustable so I can vary the height with different shoes. Best of all, it is extremely sturdy. I expect it to last for years. Extremely good value for money.

This footrest is ideal for using whilst playing a guitar. It folds down flat so is easily transportable and appears to be quite robust. It has rubbers on the bottom to stop the footrest from sliding on a slippery floor. I have size 10 shoes and they easily fitted onto the platform. There are six adjustment levels. It should last a lifetime..... but I am 78 so probably don’t have much life left haha

Perfect for me but I wouldn’t want to get drunk and try to use it as a step for a high cupboard as it would likely collapse and there’s me in hospital unable to practice guitar as have badly sprained wrist and broken collarbone.

This sturdy stand has been just what I needed for practising. I have a round back guitar which is very difficult to keep in place for lengthy spells. This stand allows adjustment for me to keep my guitar where I need it whilst sitting. This particular model folds to an easily transportable shape too.

Like this sturdy and strong, I deal when I sit on the ede of the bad and play, simple to adjust and good grip.

Does the job it was made for, it is quite sturdy ad supportive. The indicator on the top is useful to make sure it is in the required direction.

Nice design. Very lightweight. Good height range, and a comfortable foot angle.
