Mad Max: Fury Road [Blu-ray 3D]

Excellent 3D graphics and action in continuation of MadMax enterprise. Tom Hardy is good as Max.

It took 70 year old Australian George Miller to show American 30-something year old directors how to make a good action movie.He ended up making the best action movie ever.Why? Because it was made the old way. The cars (if you can call them that) are real, not CG fakery. The gobsmackingly weird cars and trucks are actually hurtling across the desert as the cameras are rolling. This is real filmmaking, not sitting in a comfy chair watching actors walk on a treadmill in front of a green screen (ALA George Lucas). The action is real, you can taste the desert dust, you can feel the agony and Hell the actors went through making this incredible movie.And watching it 3D made it even more visceral. You’re there, in the car, roaring across the desert with guns blazing around you.WHAT A MOVIE!!!!!!!

Mad Max: Fury Road is a a movie that was clouded in development hell for years and once it finally got round to beng made was filled with lots of production problems; so the fact that it is easily one of the best actions films of the decade is a true miracle. Though there probably is a little too much action in the movie and not much in terms of storytelling, it is still a tremendously worthy entry to the series and can even rival the Road Warrior for the best entry in the franchise.The production of the fourth Mad Max film is tremendous, with very little CGI used as director George Millar opted to use practical effects and the cinematography completely outstanding making the viewer really fell the heat of the dessert the characters journey through. The performances are great too with Charleze Theron giving one of her best performances in years and Tom Hardy rivalling original star Mel Gibson in the role of Max. The female characters are some of the strongest ever created in a an action film and all the great components really make this film one of the best action films of the decade.

I was a fan of the original films, except Beyond Thunderdome. I had major misgivings about this new flm, even with Tom Hardy in it. It was brilliant. Very little talk, just two hours of almost solid action. You don't have those quiet moments to stop and realise how stupid the plot is or how weak some of the character development might be. Sit down, strap in and go along for the ride. Charlize Theron was suitably kick ass as Furiosa, Tom Hardy was great as a sullen, beaten, emotionally haunted PTSD Max.All in all it was two hours I wouldn't want to get back. Sometimes Hollywood just needs to keep it simple and just go full throttle. Well worth the purchase.

This is stupendous in 3D. Who cares if the story is silly when the effects are so spectacular and the action never lets up. Charlize Theron is not my favourite actress but she's great here as a brooding Sigourney Weaver Ripleyesque character in her cropped hair and heavy kohl eyemake-up. She drives the story while Tom Hardy's Max struggles to survive. This was our first 3D film on the new TV and it was the best workout it could have had. A must-have for your 3D collection.

Wow! I absolutely loved this film! Finally we get an old school action movie with limited use of cgi. With amazing set pieces and intense indrenlion chase sequences that will have you on the edge of your seat! If you love explosions, cars flying and spinning of the roads, and none stop action with a decent story and amazing cinematography of the desert landscapes I can definitely recommend Mad max Road Fury

Been looking forward to watching this excellent film in 3D for a while but it was very disappointing.A lot of the time a lot of it doesn’t even focus. Ruined it. 5 stars fir the film -2 for the 3D

Heard mixed reviews & gambled on my better judgement, which I'm happy to say, paid off very handsomely in my view. For me, I consider this visual delight far superior than the new SW's film, which basically was a disappointing rehash of episodes IV, V & VI in one movie. Mad Max was a refreshing pleasure to watch, especially in 3D and at the reduced price too.

Aunque en la caratula pone que esta traducido al Castellano los discos solo estan en ingles y frances, y los subtitulos en ingles, frances . Como es un bluray de 2ª mano quiero pensar que puede ser de un videoclub y han cambiado los discos de otro bluray
