BACOENG Universal Vacuum Chamber Series: Standard 1.2 Quart

I was pretty excited when I first got this. I pulled a full vac and let it sit all night. Came back to no loss in pressure, and that's great!Over the course of 5 weeks, I used it a bunch. 3 days a week maybe. Then it stopped holding vacuum. You could run the pump and get it down to a full vac, close the valves and it would slowly lose pressure. After a couple mins it would no longer be at a full vac. The valves are pretty cheap and I bet that's what started slippingI returned the chamber and would recommend something better.

Had some issues initially, after working with their customer service they replaced the defective parts with improved and updated equipment and paid all shipping. Very happy.

Got what i ordered. What i didnt order is oil. Oil completely covering just about everything in the box. Eveything. Some clearly very intelligent person thought it would be smart to not fully seat the oil plug on the pressure guage..... so thanks... i had a great time trying to wipe oil off of everything...

I have been using this for a few weeks and so far its great, when it arrived the oil cap on the gauge was a little unseated and small dribble of oil, really just a minor thing. the hose it comes with looks like generic A/C hose but works nicely and is pretty flexible. word of advise is if your gauge does not read accurately be sure to pull the rubber cap off your gauge so it will adjust to the atmosphere where you are. mine sucked in some air when I got it.really the only thing I am disappointed about is that its a shallow 2qt canister. Wether that's a positive or negative will depend on your use. So if you have a 2qt paint mixing cup it wont fit in your chamber. I fixed that with a Volrath 78730 stainless steel pot off eBay which is a 3qt capacity and tall and fits the lid perfect. Was only $20 shipped and still cheaper altogether than the best value vacs stuff and uses serviceable parts. be sure to put some release wax down inside your chambers for easy cleanup of your resins.

Is vacuum chamber is simply perfect!I cannot believe I got something this nice for such a low price.The build quality is amazing, and it comes with just about everything you need. It held a perfect vacuum for 48 hours and I'm sure it would have lasted longer had I not released it.It comes with a polycarbonate lid which is super thick, a piece of polycarbonate like that already cost at least $20

Well made, does what you’d expect, with the only flaw being that there’s no way to secure the lid to the canister - it relies solely on a vacuum seal, and sometimes you have to apply a slight bit of pressure to the lid, for the vacuum to take over, and seal the lid to the canister. For the price, it works. I’d love to give it 5 stars, but having to fidget with the lid for a minute, for it to seal, means I can’t just set it and turn on my vacuum pump. That alone is the only thing holding me back from giving it a full 5-star review.(In all honesty, I’d like to give this 4.5 to 4.75 stars, but that’s not really an option in these reviews)

I make models using silicone molds for a living and for quite some time I am regularly using the BACOENG vacuum chamber kit as my trusted companion for degassing purposes.This is the second chamber I bought from BACOENG. Both the price and gauges quality are better than last year. It helped me a lot, when I first got the BACOENG vacuum chamber kit I did everything right but I didn’t put on the hose firmly enough onto the hose barb (the nozzle) which caused a small vacuum leak but I went to their support page and clicked the vacuum pump and chamber tab which lead me to the complete walk through of the process of putting all the things included in the package together and after reading that I realized my mistake that I didn’t put the hose on the hose barb as far enough to make a proper seal. After correcting my mistake it was all well and good and I never had a problem ever since.The product itself and all of its accessories are made of quality materials. To be honest the SS pot slipped out of my hands a few times but it survived without showing any signs of deformation.The BACOENG vacuum chamber kit has a wide verity of sizes from which you can choose from according to your needs. I went with the 2 quart setup however you can always consult the product series chart and pick up the size that suits you the best.

Has a sticker that says "remove plug or poke hole after installation" well, it didn't take much for the plug to pop off and it was so flimsy when i went to reinsert it the plug pushed through the hole and I couldn't get it out.
