Good price. Very clever. Does the job uniquely.
Does the job very well- Very clever- BUT it was not a quick, straight forward job to install. So, please please provide a decent, comprehensive, legible instruction sheet, and for a real situation.Get it written by a first time user who had to solve the difficulties as he went along. Also, ditto shoot a really good video of a real situation in a real, older house, by a general handyman, doing it for the first time. There are so many ways to not know what to do next. Lets' see those and how to resolve it.And provide a link with every one despatched, probably linked directly to a specific place your web site.It is a great product, but spoilt by lack of clear instructions, in print and on video. Also include questions and answers, by real people who have tried to install it..ps: Do also provide several buffers/ pegs/ spacers with each bar. Thank you.

Remove springs to aid ease of fitting.
1. Remove springs.2. Cut to size leaving 1 mm gap at each end.3. Using Blutac or similar, close up tight so that it is flat.4. Fit exitex with door closed so that rubber seal is snug against floor.5. Fit closing post with door closed.6. Refit springs.

Good on uneven floors
Good for sealing large uneven gaps between door and floor , used in garage and cut draft down and hopefully prevent mice entering.Despite some reviews I found instructions easy to follow and fit the excluder. One tip , you don't need to fully sllde the seal out when cutting to size as you may have trouble refitting seal and slide the spring out the way when cutting seal frame.

Wouldn't recommend cutting too much off
Now, these are clearly not designed for French doors (none are) but after about an hour of cutting and throwing springs away I've managed to get them to provide a decent wind barrier along the bottom of my front door - which although it took an hour has saved me the hassle of replacing the front door this year.

Fitting instructions require improvement
Excellent draught excluder and well worth the money. Unfortunately the fitting instructions let the product down.Positioning the plastic button that closes the flap when the door is closed needs to be carried out by closing the door then pushing the flap down until a good seal is achieved. At this point the flap needs to be kept in position by a helper or a heavy weight while the button is held in place and the fixing hole location marked on the door frame.I would recommend this method to everyone who only has two hands!

Sturdy product, bit fiddly, not really what I expected
It is a study product, the metal is thick. However I really wanted a brass coloured excluder like the product in the picture to match my brass door fittings. I found the fitting instructions helpful. I was worried about leaving a jagged edge after cutting to size, but using a hack saw followed by sandpaper left a smooth finish. Unfortunately the spring slipped during cutting and it took me a while to work out where it went. I would take a photo showing the spring in the correct position, if I was ever to fit another one. I also found I needed to lower the height of the excluder on the hinge side, as the 'button' holding it in place was on the other side . Hopefully it will do the job now following a few readjustments to get a good fit all the way along the bottom of the door.

Neat solution for uneven gaps under door
Exactly what I needed and works really well. Varying gap under front door was proving awkward to draught proof until I found this. Cutting it to size was the most difficult aspect but worth the effort. Very strong seal and stopped draught instantly. Will pay for itself in no time with reduced heat loss.

Works perfectly
Bit fiddly to attach to attach but works perfectly. No more draft coming from outside the house :)
