Standard fixed size shade
It looks nice and is exactly what we were looking for. However the screws at the neck led me to believe it would perhaps fit my slightly larger than standard light fitting. However there is no give in the size of the opening as even if you remove both screws it doesn’t open any wider. But if you have standard fittings it should be fine.

Check the size carefully
Smaller than I thought. The neck is wider than the average bayonet fitting so had to use pliers to adjust to fit. Not sure if I will keep it in its current location.

Sturdy but difficult to fit due to being inflexible.
The product has screws to allow you to attach to a lamp, but it's so stiff you can't open the ends to slip the fitting in. Price for 1 is £10, 2 is £15, 3 is £25, you can only get a discount in multiples of 2 which was disappointing.

Bought 2. One buckled before being packed. (Have photo.) Also, bit of a ‘fiddle’ to attach to tapered plastic collar of light-fitting.

Great rustic /steam punk light bulb cage
Obviously they're not light shades so have no effect on the lighting/ambience in the room but they look fabulous. Just buy the right kind of bulb for the kind of lighting you require.
