nice and simple solar shower
worked great on a week long mission trip where we had no access to actual showers. Water heated to luke-warm, but that's good enough for getting one clean.

Basic No-Frills 5 Gallon Solar "Camp Shower". Works, But Not The Best
This is a basic, simple shower. Just a no-frills bag and a nozzle. Appears to be made of PVC, and about the same thickness as an inexpensive pool float. Made in China.5 gallons weighs 40 pounds when full (water weighs 8 pounds per gallon). This is not a very sturdy feeling bag, and 40 pounds is a lot of stress on welded plastic seams. This might be better off to lay flat to support the weight rather try to hang it for any extended period. This exact same shower bag seems to be sold by a number of online sellers, all at different prices, and all importing the exact same bag from China (just with varying brand names silkscreened on the bag). As I surf around Amazon I see half a dozen identical looking bags from different vendors, and prices from $8 (which feels reasonable for what it is) to $20 (at which price you can buy a much better bag IMHO).This one will work. But if you're willing to spend around $19 to $25, I recommend you buy instead the Advanced Elements 5 Gallon solar shower. The AE is a much better design, better workmanship, more efficient heating, a built in thermometer, and I believe it will last longer. I've reviewed that one also, and of these two bags, the AE is the one I decided to keep and use. Worth checking out.I hope this review has been helpful as you comparison shop solar water heaters. Honestly most today aren't good quality, which makes the AE even more of a standout choice.Happy showering and happy trails, everybody.
