BE CAREFUL THEY ADVRTISE 50L BUT ONLY SEND 40L
The compost is excellent but Surefgreen advertise 50 L bags but only send out 40 L bags. This is mis advertising and makes the per L price look cheaper when it is actually more expensive than elsewhere.

Good product
Not the cheapest but good quality product . Previous use promoted good growth in plants .

First peat free purchase.
Very happy with the results of this product up to now, but because of the price, I mix it with homemade compost and a little grit to make it go further, but happy to recommend it.

The best peat free
I like everything about this compost except the high price

Great for houseplants
I mix this with perlite which is definitely required to make it a bit lighter, and then coco coir husk, pumice, bark chips, sharp sand, or worm casting depending on the plant.Really nice quality for house plants, due to the higher cost I get cheap and not as nice for outdoors, but can't beat this for mixing up for succulents, hoyas, ficus, pothos, and the like.

Nice general compost
The texture is great - I've used this for everything I've planted. Seedlings have been growing well after I sifted with a finer grade - no waste though as I just added the rest back to my bag and mixed well.Successful growing so I'm happy to recommend.

Wouldn't use anything else
I've been trying to go peat-free for my containers and I don't think I'd use anything but this now. It has a lovely open texture and the plants are absolutely thriving in it, and it is reasonably priced. So far it has worked well for established plants, climbers, seedlings, bulbs and has worked nicely with extra grit and sand for succulents.Worth mentioning that I don't think it holds moisture as well as my previous peat compost did, which I only mention if you are growing plants which require damper or boggy compost. Mine don't and actually have improved from the use of this - I've just had to up the watering a little bit during the very sunny periods.

Good soil, old stock
Opened bag yesterday and it's all mouldy.Kept in the shed with my gardening products, went to open to plant seeds and was green and white mould, couldn't even compost it. Used before and generally a good soil
