Finally I found my old friend
This miso is a helping hand in the kitchen since I can use the paste for a taste enhancer in my white beans for breakfast, use it in my noodle soup for lunch and in my beef/chicken/veggie casserole for dinner. Totally useful. I started using this a long time ago. I’m having it on subscription now so I never run dry of it.

Hatcho is the best & strongest miso for cooking with.....that’s my ‘60 years of using miso’ tip....
This is a very good no nonsense pure soya n salt n koji miso. The best/strongest for adding to soups, stews etc but probably a bit strong for spreading on toast or crackers.....best to use shiro, mugi or genmai. Milder and less salty and shiro ( rice) is almost sweet.
