Citizen Eco-Drive Brycen Chronograph Mens Watch, Super Titanium with Leather strap, Weekender, Brown (Model: BL5551-06L)

Watch looks fantastic in direct lighting. The dial is a dark, mildly iridescent, bluish-green color and the bezel is highly polished to a mirror finish with black numerals. The sub-dials are an off-black color and all the hands/numerals, in the main dial, are bright white. The case itself is a lightly-brushed natural titanium finish. The second hand's mechanical actuation is timed well and hits every numerical marker accurately.However, the watch band was a little "formal" for my taste (too much burgundy/red in the crocodile-stamped leather, IMO), so I replaced it with a Fluco whiskey-toned leather strap with contrasting off-white stitching and mirror-polished stainless steel buckle to compliment the mirror-polished bezel on the watch. This new look surprisingly gleaned several compliments, from complete strangers, while I was wearing it over the weekend, recently.Very happy with the watch. Solid purchase and I believe the quality/materials are worth the price.

Bought this for myself as early Christmas present. Received first watch quickly and it was completely discharged so placed in light to charge. After apparently charging, began the process of setting all the features. This is where the frustration set in. After numerous unsuccessful attempts I called on my son-in-law to help me set it. We both have extended degrees so we’re not exactly mechanically challenged. After 5 attempts we gave up and determined the watch was defective. Returned to Amazon and received a replacement quickly. The replacement had paperwork included that the first did not. Took watch out of box and it actually had a charge and was running. Within 10 minutes I had all the settings correct and the watch is beautiful and works great. The first watch I received was defective and probably a return, so beware.. I have now had the watch approximately 8 months and could not be more pleased. In fact it has become my everyday watch and I put my Rolex in the safe.

I was looking for a watch with a brown leather strap to round out the watches I already have and came across this one. The thing I like most about this watch is the rechargeable battery. Not having to pay for a battery change every few years is a huge plus. Keeping is charged is another story... if you don't wear it or store it in a place that gets good light the battery will deplete. It's not my first rechargeable battery watch though - I have a G-Shock that recharges and syncs the time every night via atomic clock, so I'm pretty used to it.The watch is super light because of the titanium case. Because it's not weighty, some may think it's cheap feeling but I happen to like it. It's not burdensome to wear and looks great on the wrist. The size is right in the 'sweet-spot' for me... 42-48mm so that's good.The watch has all the functions I need and some I don't. I never use an alarm or chronograph but I do use the L-TM setting on the watch to quickly and easily switch between standard and daylight savings time. One of it's BEST features is the perpetual calendar... no more setting the date number on months shorter than 31 days... it works like a charm!!As far as quality goes the build is nice but the strap is a little thin. I immediately bought a few quick-release leather straps in various colors so I can change the look of the watch when I want - but my favorite color is still brown. The watch keeps excellent time and the hand alignments with the markers on the face is very good.Value - the pricing is weird... it fluctuates by $100 at various times. I happened to have bought mine when the price was $250. I think at that price it's a very good value. At $100 more, not so much... at around the higher price I could have gotten a Citizen AT series with all the functions of this one that also keeps in sync with the Atomic clock. That said, I do like the style of this watch better than those... less busy.I've been eyeing Citizen watches for a while now and I'm glad I finally bought this one.

This watch looks nice and works great. The idea of Eco-Drive is great because you do not have to worry about changing batteries every few years. Just keep your watch charged and you should be fine with this watch. It can last at least 6 months with one charge. All you need is light to charge it.

The watch looks nice in the photo but when I got it, my first impression upon holding it was it feels like it’s made of plastic, the leather strap doesn’t look like it is quality leather at all it looks like fake leather, i returned it because I wasnt impress at all, its not that expensive but it felt like it shouldnt even cost $200,

I ordered this watch for my husband a few days ago . already registered in the official Citizen app right now. So I can say it’s a real Citizen watchJust a little bit hard to set up local time , but It’s really a beautiful watch

Nice looking watch, BUT, it is not as described, so Im returning it. Note on the page of this item, under product description. it says Blue Dial. IT doers not have a blue dial..it is black. I promise.I am returning because I wanted the BLUE dial. IT is a nice watch if you want solar powered, and black dial is ok for you.I have passed on to Amazon the error and hope they'll correct the dial color error.Citizen does have a couple other watches with blue dials on Amazon, so keep looking. Check out the Titanium(Bryson) model, as well as some stainless models

Very excited as I had my eye on an echo drive for quite a while. This is a very nice looking watch, looks better than in the pictures. Titanium case so it is light weight (and I was set on this feature) perpetual calendar plus a few more bells and whistles...and the best part is that I did not have to set it up, it came already set up and ready to use. The leather band is also very good looking.
