Rubie's Costume Men's Star Wars Collector Stormtrooper Collectors Helmet

If you are looking for a stormtrooper helmet to wear and have fun in this is the helmet for you. It is however not completely screen accurate so do not expect to get into the 501st wearing this. This helmet is the 2013 production of the Rubies helmet. It comes with interior padding and an adjustable head strap which makes for a reasonably good fit to keep the helmet firmly on your head. It is a 2 piece helmet but the Velcro used to keep it together works well. The plastic used in the helmet will develop some small scratching if you abuse the helmet. I say this because my purpose for purchasing this helmet was to wear as a part of a cheap halloween stormtrooper costume to a Tough Mudder event. The helmet was worn through the majority of the obstacles in this 11 mile mud run and held up admirably. A quick wash of the helmet and cleaning of the foam lining inside and it is still in great condition with only a few small hardly noticeable scratches on it. Now that the fun of the mud run is over my 2 1/2 year old loves having me wear it around the house (have to admit I have fun with it as well).Bottom line is this, if you want a stormtrooper helmet to wear around and don't need 100% screen accuracy -501st qualifying- (it still looks great though) then this helmet is definitely worth taking a look at.

The helmet looks cool and fits okay but it is really hard to see out the smoked plastic eye holes. In the dark you really can't see out the eye holes but that didn't stop my grandson for wearing it. Looks cool sitting on a shelf now.

It's awesome! We bought it for my son (10-yrs old) for Christmas, and it was a HUGE hit, not just with him; but our whole family. After wearing it, we finally understand just why the Stormtroopers are a terrible shot. Luke was right, you really CAN'T see anything wearing it! However, they do make a great mask/helmet when playing with NERF guns.

The helmet is exactly what I was looking for. Great design and made out of solid material. Much better than than the helmet that comes with the standard costume.

I know other reviews questioned the quality, but this is a one piece helmet that fits over your head, and was VERY well received by my teenager! He's looking forward to wearing it as a passenger on the interstate to wave at people!

Not a bad helmet. The bubble eye lenses, while Hero movie accurate, are totally junk and can't be seen out of. I cut them out, drilled out the eye holes and hot glued some new lenses in, and now you can wear the helmet whilst walking around.

I bought this for Halloween. It's pretty cool, decent fit (there are straps to adjust to your head). Doesn't look like it will break anytime soon. The only thing is that it is hard to see out of the eyeholes (as other people have mentioned). You could see through the lens, but its just murky. How murky? I can't read with them on murky. I could still see colors and differentiate objects, just no fine details. BUUUT, it'll serve it's purpose of looking cool. Kinda sucks that I won't be able to drive around in this helmet, safely :)

Very nice. Perfect for collection and the price is not too bad. It is a Disney product. They have pretty good stuff.

Really great full helm for the price. There are a bunch of Stormtrooper helms out there that are misleading and only have the front piece. This is a sturdy single piece full helmet with a strap inside for size adjustment. It is certainly larger than expected, and definitely more for adults. My son did not care 😉While it is not 100% accurate and maybe not something you want to get for your cosplay conference, but it is perfect for a good enough Halloween costume or just making a 10 year old super happy. Lens are blurry and hard to see through clearly. Recommended purchase.

Hjälmen är bra, den är lagom stor och visiren är bra. Lite dåligt målad på remsan över ögonen, tyvärr, och även svart kladd på det silvriga nertill. Den är bekväm att ha på sig. Synen är inte så bra men man kan å andra sidan inte se in utifrån alls, vilket var viktigare för mig.
