Connected to my Battery Tender
I wanted an extension cable for my Battery Tender trickle charger. The cable wires are 16 gauge, which I prefer over the 18GA wires in some of the other offerings. I gave it four (4) stars instead five (5) because one of the connectors didn't fit tightly, leaving a small gap on one of ground (-) terminals. Not a deal breaker, as it's the ground and not the positive (+) terminal. Other than that, it seems to be working fine.

Good but polarity was wrong. Fused so you ruin nothing.
Product was what I needed but beware. It was hooked up to 2 other plug ins before I hooked it up to the battery so I don’t know what one to blame for the polarity being wrong. Fortunately I knew it had a fuse so it didn’t worry me much and it blew when I put the red wire on the positive like you are suppose to. So now I have to label them so in the future somebody doesn’t do the same.

Just as described
This is the second one I have purchased. I have three vehicles and two battery minders.Those who claim the cable is wired wrong, should turn the cable around. The two ends have opposite polarity by plan. That is how SAE specified it.

Works well
I bought this to use as an extension for the battery maintainer I keep on my plow truck in central Wisconsin winters. My truck can sit for weeks at a time in winter and sometimes the battery will drain to where it won’t start so I need to keep it plugged into a battery maintainer. This extension helps to keep the maintainer sheltered while truck is outside the shed as I don’t have space for the truck.
