Q: Hi, are these shoes waterproof?

No, they are not waterproof. I bought these to replace my previous pair as they fit well and are comfortable. OK on hard surfaces but hopeless walking through wet grass. Thought my original pair were leaking as they were a couple of years old. Still get wet feet with the new pair. Not what you expect from a product which carries a Gore-tex badge !!

Q: Is it OK to jog/run in these? Got very limited luggage space

They are really designed as walking / hill climbing shoes. They are very sturdy and not very flexible. Not sure how comfortable they would be for jogging / running.

Q: Do I need to use a waterproof spray with them being GoreTex?

No, mine have stayed completely waterproof for 6 months, so far. Just don’t step in deep water because they’re low-rise!
