Uptown Girls [VHS]

I really enjoyed 'Uptown Girls'. Young Dakota Fanning was one of the best ever child actors, hugely talented, and her performance here is a delight. Brittany Murphy was really good too and I was very sad to learn that she died of pneumonia just a few years after starring in this film. I look forward to watching it all over again before too long.

I'd seen this film years ago and loved it! When I saw that it was available on prime video for purchase at a very good price I decided to add it to my digital collection its a very funny, witty film, Brittany Murphy is great as a young woman learning how to live in the real world after her inheritance is stolen, she ends up nannying a neurotic young girl who knows more about the real world than she does! But Brittany's character teaches the young girl how to be a kid x lots of great actors, humour definitely a "chick flick" a must see for any Brittany fan

"Uptown Girls" is a wonderful film; sweet, warm and Funny - with setiouse topics.Brithanny Murphy and Dakota Fanning both shines in this film, and their on screen chemestry is just magical."Uptown girls" is a moving film on many emotions.I think everyone who watch it melts, because it is so heartfelt and sweet. It make you belive in the best in people.I have watched this movie many times, but it never gets old.It is so sad that B. Murphy is no longer with us.She was a wonderful actress and human being that shines whenever She is on the Big screen.I reccomend "Uptown girls" to every B.Murphy and D.Fanning fan.I also reccomend it to those who like Romantic comedys with a strong main Story that is not Romantic, but rather dramatic and sad.But of course: "Uptown girls" has a happy ending.

Started off a bit annoying, but got better

Easy to watch after a hard day, funny too !

As i always look for new film to watch this one look like a film that i would love and god dam what i right. This is one of the best film i have ever seen. The basic plot is that i rich self obsorbed girl that realises that she has to do something with her life since her father passed away and to mend her broken heart and the lost of her father she becomes a nanny to a young girl who of which you could say is a mature young girl who mother doesnt care abnout anyone other than herself, but Ray ( the young girl) has a hidden secert of why she is so private and mature will Molly ( Nanny) be able to turn the young child back into a child and grow herself?

Wonderful film. A good combination of comedy with drama, good human values

Well first of, I bought this because a few people I socialize with said they've seen it before and said it was such a good movie. So I bought this because 1. It was cheap and 2. because friends said it was worth watching. I'm not going to disagree. It's a good story line and the characters, who are played by Britney Murphay and Dikota Fanning, are so quirky! The story line though? Well I found it predictable. I knew what was going to happen at every chapter but other than that, I loved it! Such a girly, cute, funny film.:)
