ikris Retractable Garden Water Hose Reel + 75 Foot Hose, 5/8" Diameter

Really needed a hose reel for the backyard but I knew it wouldn’t be cheap. After months (no joke) of research and my husband explaining that hose size does matter (that’s what she said) we took a chance. Love it so far the only con is the hose size really does affect the water pressure. But the upside is it reels itself in so I don’t mind pulling the entire hose out and going around the yard!! For me it’s a win win. And I run over less plants since I’m not constantly fiddeling with the hose in the yard.

Update: I am writing to say the recoil does not last. Stopping four feet short. I babied this think like nothing else and there is no reason for that. Therefore due to the high price and it not recoiling completely anymore I am dropping my rating.I should really wait a year before I review this to make sure the recoil still works. But so far I really love this retractable garden hose. It's made my life in my backyard much easier. Hated dealing with tangled hoses. I like the quality of the hose and the recoil works great so far. The only difficulty I had was installing it because the bracket doesn't separate from the unit. I wish it did because I will want to store it indoors during the winter so it will be removed and installed each year. Also love the non-leaking brass end fittings.

I really like not having to bend over to rewind the hose. The swivel features are a plus in moving around the yard. It is a little expensive and I wish it had come with a template for hanging. Reason for 4 instead of 5 stars. Comes with nice hose and rotating end of hose spigot with lots of choices on spray.

We ordered this and thought it was great in the beginning. Until it started to leak. My husband opened it and everything inside is rusted. He can't even tighten the hose to fix the leak because the area to go that has springs. Don't waste your money, this won't last.

I just received my Ikris hose in the mail today. I opened the box with excitement and couldn't wait to try it out. I took the bubble wrap off of the brass fitting that connects to the spigot and quickly noticed that one side of the fitting was not banded properly around the hose, it's not even touching the hose on one side. This means after using it for a season it will spring a serious leak right at the spigot rendering it useless. Now I have to repackage it all and return it. This is not the first defective product I've had to return to Amazon for defects lately.

I wanted to like this I really did. I bought it for my wife who doesnt like to wind up the hose. When it arrived the plastic on both sides looks damaged so I reached out the the seller and this is what the seller said:Thanks for writing to us! I'm sorry to see that there is a mark there. That mark sometimes happens when the individual green piece is separated at the factory - it doesn't indicate pressure. This doesn't affect the performance of the reel.Once again, I apologize for any inconvenience.Do let us know if there are further questions/issues.Hope this helps!No responsibility for a defective product. When I pay $150 for a hose I expect it to look and function well.

Nozzle can be better, but hey I bought this for the reel. Instructions didnt seem right on the pamphlet out of the box so i went to their official website and got a much clearer diagram. the slow rewind is also a really nice touch. it doesnt whip around and retracts in a smoother motion. if you want it to rewind faster, detach the nozzle so that the water drains out of the hose as it rewinds. well worth the money!

I am giving it 4 stars due to the fact that after a few months of use it no longer retracts all the way back....2 feet started out. Love it over all.
