DIY Arcade Combination Acrylic Panel + Bottom Box with 8 Screws and 4 Suction Cups, Other Collectibles

Bought 4 of these boxes to make some DIY joysticks to play some retro games with on me pc, the boxes are surprisingly good for the price all the buttons and joystick holes line up ok to fit various buttons and joysticks the slight issue I had was the screw holes to screw the top plate down to the box were a little small for the provided screws and had to drill the holes on the box bigger, other than that they are a neat bit of kit especially when you jazz them up a little, my daughter likes playing games especially playing my old 90s arcade machines and she's become used to the old school way of playing games with a joystick rather than a Joypad so made her one using pink buttons and a pink joystick, also covered the top plate in pink vinyl wrap and unicorn stickers the end results looks great and she love it.One think I would recommend is a step drill because the coin and start buttons at the top are 24mm holes I was lucky enough to buy joystick sets with these 2 sizes of buttons included but for some wanting to go bigger then they will need drilling out to fit standard size arcade buttons, I did this with my joystick using a step drill and it worked out fine, the top plate is actually a sheet of of black perspex / acrylic so easy enough to drill.

This enclosure is nicely made with quality components. It’s great value for money.Note that the top two button holes are for 24mm buttons, but this isn’t a major issue. Some people may prefer to use smaller buttons here and that’s useful.If you have all 30mm buttons then the holes can easily be enlarged. I had a sharp knife and too much time, so I scraped the inner edges to enlarge them. Not the best way, but the buttons hid any roughness and they look perfect when fitted. Drilling or filing them would be even quicker.It’s definitely worth the money.

Absolutely awful.. scratches everywhere, holes weren't cleaned after drilling.Avoid at all costs, would give a zero star if I could

Il pannello su cui vanno montati pulsanti e joystick ha 8 fori, 6 grandi (per i pulsanti di gioco) e 2 più piccoli (per Coin e 1 Player). Purtroppo la maggior parte dei kit joystick da montare hanno i pulsanti tutti dello stesso diametro, quindi per montare i due pulsanti Coin e Player ho dovuto allargare i relativi fori. Per il resto, nulla da eccepire, consegna Amazon rapidissima.
