Cheap, Effective, Poor Longevity
Until last month I'd been using the name brand ink that was costing my business $60/cartridge. Needless to say, when I saw that I could buy generic ink for a tenth of the cost, I found it well-worth investigating. I ordered three of the cartridges to start, and here's what I discovered:- The ink works well. It's virtually identical to the name brand stuff. The color is pretty much indistinguishable to me, and it takes about the same time to dry.- The cartridge doesn't fit my MailStation2 as well as I feel it should. It fits, but you have to finesse it into place and make sure the latch locks it in. It's not an enormous issue, especially for the price, but it's something to be aware of if you plan on shaking your MailStation, as the cartridge could come loose.- The ink doesn't seem to last as long as the name brand stuff. This is really the only significant issue I have with it. The ink ran out after only two major mailings, as opposed to three that I was getting from the name brand. As such, you need to make sure you have a small stockpile of ink in reserve, just in case you run out at an unfortunate time.Overall, I'm pretty happy with this. Even factoring in the lack of longevity, the ink is vastly less expensive than the alternative, and does the job equally well. Keep in mind, though, that I'm still on the second of three cartridges, and if I encounter other issues before my supply runs out, I'll update here.

Says what it does, does what it says...
So, of course, my Mailstation 2 started giving me a "low ink" warning two months ahead of time thinking I'd be stupid enough to replace a cartridge that was half-full for a $60 cartridge from PB. Well,I wasn't that stupid but since I didn't know if the cartridge was actually close to death or not (Epson pulls this same scam with their printers), I thought it might be a decent idea if I got a generic replacement. After reading the reviews, I chose these ones. Now, as many people have pointed out, they aren't "NuPost" branded as indicated in the photos. Does that mean that they aren't actually NuPost cartridges? Not necessarily but the question I really have is what does it matter? Everyone who bought these ordered them for the exact same reason that I did: we didn't want to be robbed by PB for ink and we wanted a decently reviewed generic that WORKED. Fitness for a particular use is the issue, here, nothing more.I have a PB Mailstation 2, Model #K7M0 and for my machine these cartridges (at least the first one) have worked flawlessly for the last month that I've been using them. You should ignore any review that complains about the lack of branding like the most recent ones by JP and ComCity. Neither one states whether or not these cartridges actually worked for them. The closest that ComCity gets is this:"I have tried lots of the clear ink unbranded cartridges and they simply do not work."...which indicates nothing but the reviewer's past experience with OTHER products. However, it should be noted that if you've used "lots" of other similar cartridges and they don't work, maybe it's not the cartridges that are the problem, it's your machine. It doesn't really make much sense for a manufacturer to make and sell a product that doesn't work. So, the bottom-line is that for my machine, these work exactly as advertised. Your mileage may vary but for $10 (including shipping) it's definitely worth the gamble and you can always return them if they don't work... or you don't like the label or the fact that the cartridge is clear... or that it's Tuesday and you hate Tuesdays.UPDATE: It is nearly a year later (03/05/2015) since I first write this review and I'm still on the first cartridge. I just got the "low ink" lamp so we can expect that I won't be replacing this for another two months. This has proven to be an outstanding product and value.

Ok for price, wouldn't be my preferred ink in the future, though
I ordered this for my office because I forgot to order the Pitney Bowes ink and needed ink....right away. Argh!!! So of course I took to Amazon for speediness....I was glad to find this, plus it was at a cheaper price which was good. However, the quality wasn't the same as the Pitney Bowes. The ink color was significantly different and it printed much more dull than the Pitney Bowes does. Also, in my 3.5 years as my office I'd only ordered 2 extra ink cartridges from Pitney Bowes.....but this one started fading about 2 months after purchase. All in all not a terrible purchase because I was really in a pinch, and probably for the cost per use was similar to Pitney Bowes since it was lower cost but lower uses, but I'd rather in the future just buy the Pitney Bowes ink for more money in order to have the better quality but more importantly the longer lasting.

Works well with Pitney Bowes meters
I use this all the time in my Pitney Bowes machine, works well and it's affordable, unlike Pitney Bowes ink which is extremely expensive!

Have used Pitney Bowes postage machine for years in my small office. These NuPost replacement cartridges are the ONLY ones I have found (besides the Pitney bowes brand---which cost 3 times as much) that actually work in the meter and don't clog up the print head and ruin it within 3 mos.*I have tried replacement ones from several other vendors and they all ruined the print head in a matter of mos (and only way to fix is to have print head replaced). Am going to stick with these from now on!

Very Faded and Incomplete Print
This product produces a very faint print. After three impressions I had to re-install this cartridge because the printing was very faded and incomplete. Result was better after re-installation, but again, very faint. Worried I will not get many prints from it.I've purchased other 3rd party compatible cartridges for my PB stamp machine and the print was a nice bright red, which is important for Canada Post. This NuPost product needs major improvements and much better quality assurance.

Works as indicated. Cheaper than through Pitney Bowes for same thing.
