Not gonna lie, this little recorder is legit. I do alot of interviews for work, but traditional recorders are big and bulky. Back in the day the little recorders were crappy, that's why you always had to get a big recorders like you get at target. Either that or you had to go to a spy store and pay like $400 for a decent tiny recorder with crappy capacity...Not anymore, at least for this one. I bought it and was skeptical, but it's amazing and best part is it's very easy to hide (check your state to make sure it's legal!) and no one would even look twice.The noise canceling is legit, in one of my interviews I had to show a video with audio, ofc. the interviewee talks as the video is playing, but somehow the device knew to cancel out the video noise and enhance the interviewee's voice. I was very impressed.The magnet is pretty strong on metal surfaces, but for whatever reason it's a bit weak and doesn't stay as good on the iphone magnet (no clue why because it works great on other metal surfaces). It was easy to attach underneath a metal desk and get clear recordings (again check state laws lol)Oh, this thing comes with all kind of attachments too, converters for the old iphones, USB to USBC, and even headphones!Unit is black, very thin, and honestly very inconspicuous, the mic is hidden and no blinking lights after the initial few blinks you get when the unit is turned on. After 3-5 seconds, the blinking stops, so it doesn't bring attention once it's turned on. For the price, this unit definitely outperformed any undercover and dare I say even the expensive "spy" brands.
