The sheathe is much better, easier to find because it's orange. The strength is a little bit better. They do the job very well like a box cutter should.

Sliding box cutters of this design are tough to find locally, and a person never finds a twelve pack at a great price. I am glad to have found this product, and I plan to purchase this Amazon item again. However, I may not have to resupply too soon. The blade last nicely through constant use at work. I also like that these cutters slice much better than safety cutters and that they have a simpler design than utility knives.Perhaps, others will be as satisfied with these implements as I am. These little things [un]pack a punch! They are so tiny compared to the old school box cutters and so much easier to use!For the one handed uncovering:: I hold the orange “cover” with the silver side down and kinda just smack it on the table or floor and the cover slides down. Same with closing it!I have forgotten to close it a few times and have gone to reach for it and almost cut myself. It would be nice if the razor portion was a different color so you could visually see when the blade is exposed. Otherwise it kinda looks like the “butt” part with no blade on it, there’s no immediate distinction. (Just a mention for the seller- maybe something they can improve upon?)The razors are sharp and it does the job perfectly! Only thing is There’s just one side on the razor so there’s no way to flip it over and use the opposite side, like the old school box cutters. But there’s 10 in a box so plenty to last you a while!!I like that it’s orange, it stands out in the junk drawer.

The media could not be loaded. easy enough to use but a bit too tightly pinched making it hard to close unless you have a very firm surface available.

These box cutters are excellent for everyday household use. They arrive pre-filled with sharp blades and are easily refillable. They fit easily in a pocket (just make sure its closed first!). Having a box of 12 is great for when the others wander off with them, cuz I always have a few extra! I highly recommend them!

Works great,used one today at work. Only downside is that you can't flip it around,only fits one way. I'm right handed and it feels weird against my thumb. Other than that,it works like a charm. Time will tell on how durable they are from everyday use.

These blades do not just retract they come completely out and have a real possibility of slicing the palm of your hand. If you're going to retract them just pull a little bit and make sure the blade is covered
