Overall, it's fine but it could be better. A reasonable value for the price.
Well, there were some good and some not-so-good about this product. First the bolts do not take any sort of standard tool. They take a star tip or allen wrench to install and require TWO different sizes. They should state this in the product description. This makes installation and removal of the bolts more difficult. What's wrong with a bolt that takes a standard phillips screwdriver? Plus, if you are out on the water and you need to make a repair or an adjustment, the chances of anybody having the necessary tool, is almost zero. The next issue was that the "J" hooks take a different size bolt and nut (smaller). The seller had only included nuts for the larger bolts. They did offer to send the smaller nuts that were missing but it's very frustrating to be in mid-project and have to either stop and wait for the correct parts to be shipped or make a trip to the hardware store. They also only include one small piece of shrink wrap, which is as stated in the description but they should really include at least two pieces. I had to purchase additional shrink wrap, as well as the smaller nuts. What this being said, the quality of the cording was good and an ample length. The quality of the PLASTIC padeyes seem fine. They should also state in the product description that the padeyes are plastic. You have to read the questions that were submitted about this product to find this out.

Worked great on my old kayak.
I bought a used kayak that did not have any bungee on the deck. I wanted it to hold extra gear when out on the lake. This really did the trick.

Perfect for our Old Town Canoe
We were needing this kit for our OLD TOWN canoe. Came early and exactly as advertised. Only one suggestion, provide a self tapping screw option for those of us that have closed rail canoes.Will provide pictures later...
