Birki'sBirki's Unisex-Adult Clogs

I bought these clogs for gardening & small-farm chores and really like them. My only gripe is I wish they had more padding &/or a thicker sole, there isn't much shock absorption. When I am home, I am in them all day, sometimes 12 hours, it's difficult to find any shoe that can remain comfy for that long but I had hopes for these. I did put a pair of gel inserts underneath the cork footbed but am going to look for another option with even more cushioning though, fortunately they are wide enough to accommodate this customization.I am happy with my purchase!I did buy a pair of the Birki Garden clogs in addition to these to compare ( and hoped I would have two great garden-shoe options to wear each day) and those are going back! They fit very strangely, and although very light weight, were not comfortable for my feet.

I live in Birkenstock sandals so I thought these would be good, I needed a non slip work shoe, they were too wide for my feet and not that comfortable. :`(

I've been wearing Birkenstocks almost exclusively for several years now. I'm overweight and have had several orthopeadic surgeries - I needed something easy to get on and off BUT that gave above average support. These are worth every penny, wear very well, and my feet never hurt which is amazing.If you are a Birkenstock novice, or nearly so, do some homework. Here on Amazon, I've seen several less than stellar comments and reviews, mostly because people did not read the product description closely, did not buy the right size, did not choose the correct product. Birkenstock makes LOTS of styles, they change over the years, they look alike at a glance but are not alike. For example, the famous "chef clog" model is NOT this Birki clog I'm reviewing. This Birki is similar, but not the same. The heavier-duty clog, which I would highly recommend for people on their feet all day, has a deeper footbed, so the clog comes farther up on the heel. Those clogs and the Birkis I'm reviewing now are NOT leather - they are waterproof and have great grip on wet surfaces (and so far for me, even some ice and snow). Some Birks are leather, but if you want leather don't order this style.US vs European sizing is confusing and not made easier by the fact that Amazon lists Birks and sizes about 10 different ways. You can review size charts on other shoe sites or even better, try on some Birkenstocks in a store to get the size info you need. Note - I always wear socks with this over-the-heel clog style, so consider this when you do sizing too. I wear one size (like 38 instead of 39) smaller in a sandal style.

These shoes are suppose to be the Best well the front at the toes have split enough to now water gets in I’m in a kitchen and they haven’t even held up to expectations. Bought them May 7 th and already missed the return date now I’ve even paid $15 dollars more than listed price . I suggest i get a full refund and return these shoes . And I’m not happy everyone at work has these and gave me huge reviews on them and they didn’t stand up to me at all.

These are great but seem to be a size too small from my Birk sandles.
