I had been using a more expensive brand and decided to give these a try. I honestly have to say that I notice very little difference between these and the other brand ( which are five times the price ) the only minor difference is that the Hopi Direct Candles are a tiny bit more smokey, this is very easily managed though by trimming as they burn!My clients find them very comfortable, I find them very effective SO don't be put off by the low price, they just represent incredible value for money. I'm about to order the Aromatherapy candles and will review these soon.Thank you Hopi Direct!!

Very good, quick service and candles felt on a par with leading brand Biosun. You are more aware of the bigger flame though from the corner of your eye as you have the treatment. The instructions need to be updated to include remember to have matches to hand and also a note on usage of the cardboard discs as I didn't see these until afterwards. Not that I ever use them. I think instructions needs to be clearer, as many people will be setting up using them for the first time, not an old hand like myself.Thank you.

They are a really good price and work well. However some of the ends have come loose and whilst being used on me, one if the ends got stuck in my ear. Wouldn't recommend for those who could get easily distressed as it took some tweezering to get it out. I have complained directly to the manafacturer but not had any response.

These are great value for money, they really work. Ensure you follow the instructions, and always do these with someone, the material burns well but not fast, which is what you need, and it doesn't flake! so important as the last thing you want is hot ash falling over your face.These really do work, read the small info page that comes with and you will find your ears will be well looked after using these. Facinating how they work. I burned one with out using it in my ear and there was nothing in it, so these really help to clear out all that wax, if you suffer with it.For therapists, I definitely recommend this, as the value for money is great!

I got suspicious about the amount of wax coming out of my ear after a week, knew my ear drum was not that big, and I am still deaf in one ear. There is no research to support the use of these candles and some horror stories about wax on ear drums etc. Clinical analysis of residue in candle after use has not produced any evidence of human ear wax (cerumen). Canada has banned imports. Carried out my own experiment and can confirm that the yellow/orange wax is produced by the candle. Fortunately these have a filter and about an inch of yellow powder which prevents wax getting into the ear. However the balloon I used on the ear end of the candle had soot in it and what if the yellow powder drops into the ear. This practice more likely to cause a problem rather than cure one. I will not be using them again. Cannot believe I was foolish enough not to research and experiment before using them. Very disappointed as thought they were just what I needed to clear my blockage.

I have been ordering these hopi candles on a regular basis for about 20 months and have used them as a therapist and for personal use. I could not have recommended the previous candles supplied enough (they were brown in colour despite the pictures shown).They individually wrapped as pairs which was great for h&s and hygiene, burnt well and never had any trouble with the filters and all at a fantastic price. I have recently placed 2 orders and have received a different product, granted they are as shown in the picture but come in a standard pack containing all the candles together, the plastic ends have often fallen out of the candle before removal from the packet and if not when you pick them up. this concerns me not only for personal use but i dont feel i could now use them on a client as it would not appear professional to be removing bits of plastic from their ears and certainly is not safe. Please bring the back the brown/beige candles, sadly i feel i may have to look for an alternative.product to use.

I have used these before .. my husband has problems with excess ear wax.. these are easy to use .put them in your ear light them and let them burn down to the red line...But you must keep a close fit in the ear or they dont work my husband holds them in place himself... they are excellent and draw the wax out painlessly. Also keep a cup of water handy to dunk them in when they are down to the red line.

This product is amazing!I've been having Hopi ear candles for some time in my local beauty salon, and thought surely I can save myself some money here and do it myself. So having a look around I found this product, it comes with discs to help you know when to remove the candle from your ear and full instructions on how to use them, so so easy.

Ce set de 20 paires de bougies est présenté dans deux sachets de 20 bougies avec 2 cercles de protection à placer au niveau du trait plus foncé.Après essai la bougie brûle en 1/4 d'heure environ avec un crépitement dans l'oreille tout le long du traitement.C'est mieux et beaucoup plus relaxant de se faire faire le rituel mais si on est tout seul, il faut prévoir un bol plein d'eau à proximité et un miroir pour toujours vérifier la verticalité de la bougie.Si la bougie est maintenue droite, la partie consumée reste en place et ne tombe pas sur la tête ou le visage à condition bien sur de ne pas faire de gestes intempestifs.Pour vérifier l'efficacité de la bougie, j'ai découpé la bougies qui restait en deux dans la longueur , j'ai ainsi pu constater avec surprise toute la quantité de cire en provenance de l'oreille qui avait été aspiré dans le cône.Bien sur, le feu c'est risqué, mais en prenant toutes les précautions cela vaut la peineJe suis tellement satisfaite que j'en ai racheté

Contrairement à ce qui est écrit, on ne nous vend pas 20 PAIRES de bougies, mais bien 10 paires (20 unitées..)Publicité mensongère, à fuir.

Je connaissait le très ancien principe de la petite bougie creuse en cire d'abeille roulée utilisée pour nettoyer les oreilles bouchées, mais là ce n'est pas du tout pareil : Les bougies (2 X 20) sont très grandes (plus de 20 cm !) et ne sont pas en pure cire d'abeille mais en toile de coton enduite de cire "naturelle" et d'huiles essentielles en bref un tube de coton imprégné de cire !Le principe d'utilisation est assez simple (même s'il nécessite deux personnes) on plante le tube délicatement dans le creux de l'oreille de la personne qui est allongée sur le coté Une fois que le tube est bien vertical on allume le bout et y'a plus qu'à patienter une quinzaine de minutes pour obtenir le miracle : oreille et sinus débouchés, zenitude, maison parfumée etc etc ...Dans la réalité, La personne allongée entend un petit crépitement (si vous ne lui avez pas percé le tympan en introduisant le tube) et ressent une légère chaleur. La personne préposée à la surveillance et à la tenue du tube ressent une crampe dans le bras, se prend la fumée dans le nez et stresse à la moindre envolée de cendre rougeoyante qu'il faut rattraper sans lâcher le tube !!Mon compagnon a trouvé cette expérience assez relaxante ( mais aucune action sur le cérumen) et moi beaucoup moins !Attention : la notice est exclusivement en anglais (quelques dessins permettent de comprendre) et la partie qui doit être mise dans l'oreille contient un petit embout en plastique dur et un petit morceau de mousse donc bien vérifier que le bout du tube n'est pas abîmé avant de l'introduire au risque d'enfoncer l'un ou l'autre profondément dans le conduit auditif.
