Overall this is a good kayak cart at a good price. It's lightweight and easy to pack for any trips since it folds up. I have an Ascend fs12t which is a pretty large and heavy kayak, this cart can handle it no problem even loaded with gear as long as you're on a hard surface. The tires just sink down in sand and do not roll.

I got this to help drag around my sit-on-top kayak, which weighs quite a bit. It's sturdy enough to handle the weight of the kayak. The tires are inflated when it arrives, which is nice, too. Just remember to carry and use the "belt;" I made the mistake of leaving it at the cabin one day thinking the weight of the kayak would hold it on the trolley... it was not. The belt makes the transportation much easier!

Purchased this cart knowing that the strap provided doesn’t work well from reading previous reviews. I tried the strap and that confirmed the prior reviews. I used a ratchet strap with the cart and ported my kayak up and Dow a qtr mile bumpy trail to the water without any issues. The reason for four stars instead of five is that there is no obvious place to attach the strap. I placed it under the hinges but was concerned that the pressure needed to secure the cart might damage the plastic in the hinge. It worked fine on this trip but durability for future trips may be questionable

You have to make sure it is in the middle or it will come off. Otherwise it has been a life saver.

Item was delivered in excellent condition

This works perfectly for one 38-pound kayak, we also stacked two 38 lb kayaks on it and other than the slippery plastic kayaks being challenging, the trailer handles the weight beautifully.
