This light is FREAKIN' Awesome!!!
I have been searching for a tail light that would 1) be bright and 2) last 10-12+ hours per charge or battery. My century rides take 10-12 hours on the road (I go slow, enjoy the scenery, take photos, rest stops, etc.) and I have searched far and wide for a good light. This URG light is awesome! I have only had it a few days but long enough to test the battery life. The low flash setting (highly visible-especially in the dark, dawn and dusk) lasted a full 26 hours before I shut it off. Then I tested the medium flash setting (highly visible in daylight too) and have two separate days of results --one day lasted 12 hours, the next lasted 14 hours. Wow!The high flash setting (I only use flash settings for maximum battery life and because I personally believe they are safer and seen better) is literally blinding. I cannot look directly at it. It could be used as an emergency flasher on the highway. I have not yet tested this mode's battery life as the medium setting is perfect for my needs. I don't know how long it takes to charge (have not tested this yet)--I just plug it in and go to bed and it is ready in the morning. The light is built well. The attachment is quite well made and it will attach most anywhere. On my long rides I carry a large under-seat cargo bag so I mount this light on the down-tube that goes to my rear tire hub. The bracket has click stop adjustments so I can mount the light perpendicular to the road surface even though my down-tube descends at an angle.I cannot say enough good things about this tail light -- it fits my needs perfectly and condemns my many other tail lights to a dark storage spot in my garage.Thank you Uncharted Roads Gear!!!

You make your choice but I still like the light
first of all I'm gonna start off by telling you this is the fifth one I bought but first of all I have to tell you there was an older style it now they redid it the first three what is an a problem with the light it was the rubber that covered the small USB cover for charging would come unplugged and I hate to tell you this I was dating a girl and I got a new One in the mail and her son open the box and ripped it right out the rubber cover so I use it until it got wet and of course I did buy a new one wasn't their fault bad engineering to the boys should'nt of done it no the new ones I'm not sure but I think they're better LEDs and it has a great rubber that covers the charging port it seated in nicely but I had to replace one it a light that says it's charging just start acting weird and then it just stopped working but I do have to tell you I haven't had a license in 22 years so this bike is road every night this light is charged a couple times a week right at night a lot it does last a long time and it does charge very fast so I still have to say I give it five stars if you drove it once or twice a week it last you forever

Holy Cow this thing is bright!
Really pleased with this light - it's bigger than expected, but the mounting is nice and I've installed mine on the rear triangle where it's completely out of the way and not dangling on the back of my seat pack where previous lights have flown off on bumpy roads. The flexible mounting permits enough rotation that the light remains close to vertical on the angled bar. Even on the brightest setting, it seems to have good life, although the longest I've taken it on is a 4-hour ride so far, so I can't say beyond that. I do a lot of twisty canyon riding here in the Tahoe region and I'm told that drivers see me well even in bright sunshine, which is really important with so many blind curves and the narrow roads. Recommended enough that I bought a second one for my other bike.

UPDATED REVIEW:
1. UPDATE: Uncharted Roads Gear is sending a replacement taillight for the one that won't hold a charge. This sort of customer service makes all the difference in the world. I can understand how something like a battery that won't hold a charge could make it past quality control. A company that will take responsibility for it and make it right is the sort of company I'll be doing business with in the future.I purchased two of these Uncharted Roads Gear URG Pro High Visibility Bicycle Taillight II's. One for my mountain bike and one for my road bike. The one that I have been using on my road bike seems to discharge without being used. I've had two experiences now where I have fully charged the light, put it on my road bike, and then needed it about 2 weeks later for a ride that went into dusk. On both occasions the light failed after just a few minutes. Yesterday I fully charged it again and then immediately turned it on to the brightest flashing mode. In this case it worked for about 4 hours which is about the claim made by the manufacturer. The other light seems to hold a charge for extended periods of time with no problems. A 50% failure rate is not acceptable in my opinion.

As bright as the reviews indicate. Mount and switch gear a bit lame
I find it hard to mount and remove the light- there's just a relatively weak "rubber" strap which the light notches into. I fully expect the strap to wear out or break soon- it's not sturdy. I just hope I don't lose the light when the strap breaks:( I wish they had a second "hard" metal or plastic mount I could screw into my rear rack as there's only a notch and no other way to mount the light itself. I also find the switch for the light relatively difficult to reach / find esp when it's dark. I wish it was larger/corrugated or something so it was easier to find when you're in the dark trying to get things going. However- it's bright and the light seems much more reliable than most.

Nice light. POS holster
The light itself is good. I liked it. Notice the past tense. Myreal issue is with the POS holder they provide with it. Couldn't even survive one trail ride. And no, I didn't wipe out or anything. The light just unclipped itself from it's holster, and I didn't notice it until the ride was over. The light is plenty bright, but for some reason there's no blink or strobe setting on it.

SUPER bright and adjustable!
I just got into biking (to and from the office) and I needed a taillight for my bike. I came upon the URG taillight (I also purchased the headlight) after reading some of the reviews. Overall, this light is incredibly bright and it was a piece of cake to mount to my seat. I like that I can charge it with a USB and I also like that it rotates to improve visibility.
