I was surprised to learn that these are polyester, as they are so soft and not hot at all. Only problem was that the pattern on the bottom sheet was printed sideways, which I had seen in another comment, but gave it a chance anyway, thinking it may have been a fluke, but the sheets are adorable. I bought them for an adult guest who loves mermaids, and she went crazy when she say the room decorated with the sheets, decals, a canopy, an ocean rug and a mermaid doll personalized with her name. Multicolored lights like under the ocean and twinkle lights added the final touch. I also liked that it had seven pieces...two sheets flat and fitted, a duvet and four pillow cases. It was a b!g hit!

So I should have payed more attention to the review with the picture and not ordered this comfort set for my 5 year old. I thought maybe his was just one of the defective comforter set. But he was right the design of the sheet is not printed correctly and instead of it being top to bottom, it is side to side witch makes it look not good. Also I noticed that the pillow cases in the picture have a pink shell design on the back but the one that I receive was not pink it was blue. It would have been nice if they were pink since I have a girl not a boy and now she thinks its a boy's comfort set Not girls. Very Disappointed.

Sheets are printed in complete wrong direction. Sideways mermaid???? The blue water detail that should be at the top now has to be hidden in the side, in both the top and fitted sheets. Tie for duvet not attached, poorly made zipper. Very disappointing for my 2 year olds first “big girl bed.”

This is a very cute set, however it is not cotton. Therefore it doesn't breathe and my daughter was sweating every night tucked into the polyester, which apparently has a lot of unhealthy chemicals in it as well.

Wow was pleasantly surprised. After reading a few reviews I canceled the order. To my surprise it arrived faster than anything else I’ve ordered and appears to well made and is very cute. I was expecting the white background with mermaids but the light blue arrived but was very happy with the whole set so kept it. I’m sure my Grand daughter will love it.
