Exquisite Crochet Shawls

Loved the book! Patterns are very Pretty. If you do not like the real big motifs in the pattern on the cover, you can make them smaller with a thinner yarn, smaller hook and make the same shawl showing. I have not made the shawl I purchased the book for but after reading the instructions, they look fairly understandable and not very difficult to crochet. I

This is a wonderful pattern book. All of the shawls are absolutely beautiful! I gave 4 stars instead of 5 only because one of the shawls that I made from this book had some awkward instructions. The diagrams did not match the instructions as far as the number of motifs needed for the shawl.

I was drawn to this shawl and was not disappointed

Have not made any of the projects in this leaflet, and not sure when I will ever get around to that. The projects are pretty to look at, though, so maybe someday.

I bought this book mainly for the pattern for the shawl on the cover. It's just the style I wanted to use as a wrap when attending symphony performances. I think it's beautiful. Now, I'm looking for the perfect "eggplant" yarn so it will complement one of my favorite dresses.

I am very pleased with this truly excellent book of 5 gorgeous crochet shawls. They are exotic and original and not found in ordinary pattern booklets. Made with D and G crochet hooks will make them not as challenging or slow to make as would a tiny steel hook pattern.

Yes, it did. I made the Pineapple model using 2 different yarns, hence achieving 2 different looks.

The book has charming projects, but useless for me. It does not have charts and as to me - it is most important thing, it makes job so much easier. I always prefer to see a scheme instead of reading all these long and complicated descriptions. Other than that it is fine.

the shawls in this book are truly exquisite but the patterns are not too complicated to make. i just wish it was possible to obtain us yarns in the uk
