This is the Rawlings/knight shop synthetic trainer. It is fantastic. It has more flex in the blade than the cold steel trainers and is safe for thrusting. The basket hilt design is excellent for a fan of the broad sword and I can say the basket does work. These blades can go toe to toe with the cold steel line, but can also be modified based on different pommel and guard combinations. The blade, because of the bend for thrusting, can get bent out of shape. However if you place the blade in a warm bath, you can bend it back to proper form. The seller is good, though it took a little longer than I thought, it arrived neat and ready to go. I recommend this to anyone who wants a good training sword, especially for any potential highlanders looking to carve up a red coat or three

Great Practice Swords
I bought two of these swords. Excellent balance and they are a happy medium between wooden waisters and steel blades. Great for both drilling and sparring. Good price, too.
