Q: can this be used in aquariums? does it have any chemical additives?

Thank you for your inquiry. Andesite is 100% natural (derived straight from Mother Nature) and consists of virgin rock dusts that have only been processed to the extent that they have been reduced to their current mesh size. Andesite contains no chemical (or other) additives whatsoever. Andesite can (and is) used in aquariums (and aquaponic systems as well) and will not harm fish or other aquatic life. Please note that the mesh size is between 80-100 so you want to make sure it is appropriate for your particular application. The image with the Andesite in the hand should provide you with an accurate representation of the approximate size.

Q: Who is the manufacturer?

The shipping documentation shows Green Generations, Inc. without any mention as to who actually mined and processed the product.

Q: can a person put too much of this on the soil? and what will happen?

Thank you for your interest in our Andestie Mineral Complex. To answer your question, Andesite cannot be over-applied. Any additional Andesite will simply remain in the soil until it has been completely utilized.
