The first order was defective, pulled the whiskers instead of cutting. They quickly replaced the order and the head works perfectly, with a smooth complete shave.

I ordered first the new blades that pulled more hair out than they cut and it didn't fit the head, it kept popping off. So I ordered the entire head and again, it pulled whiskers out, very painful.So I called Norelco, who said there is only one place to get original Norelco replacement parts. They sent me a free head and it cuts like a new razor.

Replacement head works like the original. I would purchase again if needed.The blades seem to be looserin the head, but the shave is the same.

Do not buy, this one hurts and pulls. I gave it as a gift and it was out the return time, it pulls and hurts ended ujp throwing it out. buy the original one

for some reason these heads does not give a close shave

This is a cheap way to “re-new” a very nice razor - which will outlast a dozen shaving heads. Not nearly as comfortable as a new razor, but it’s sure not $100 either. The razor is already outdated with no replacement heads from the manufacturer. Ain’t life grand?

My Norelco Arcitec 1090X shaver had worn out its “gearbox”, the shaver head holder that transmits power from the motor in the handle to the three rotary cutters. The Norelco model number for that integrated shaving head unit is RQ10. The RQ10 appears unavailable.This replacement product consists of a copy of an RQ11 shaver head mated to the shaver head holder “gearbox”, and it fits the Arcitec 1090X shaver. As noted elsewhere, the shaver head is not the same as a Norelco RQ11. However, I found that the gearbox does accept a genuine Norelco RQ11 shaver head, so that is an option if desired.This product has put my Arcitec 1090X back in service, and provides a way to extend its life.

Advertised as fitting Norelco Sensotouch 1160. When I finally got it to snap into place (very bad fit) the blades were so dull that they grabbed every whisker instead of cutting them cleanly. Very painful experience. Returing immediately. You get what you pay for, they say. The problem with this is that I then found a Norelco factory brand head for about the same price.
