It was easy to put together and it is quite sturdy. It is a great accent piece in our living room. It is not very comfortable as a sitting couch but with a couple of throw pillows, it is comfortable to lay on. We've had ours a free months and it is holding up well. Dog hair wipes off fairly easily

The media could not be loaded. Looks good, the legs are painted gold not plated. The seat part is good foam and fabric, but after a while you’ll sink in and you’ll feel like your siting without cushion. The depth could be better, but that part was expected. The buttons aren’t fastened tight so they catch on things at times. But over all. The price at mid to low 300$ it’s worth for the looks and occasional use. Always get compliments on it. I would give it a 3.5 stars.

My only negative about this couch is that it was shipped with NO INSTRUCTIONS!!! Honestly, who sends major furniture items that have to be put together without ANY instructions??? That was a real bummer, let me tell you. I had to figure it out myself - fortunately it was in just 4 major pieces so it wasn't ultimately too difficult, but sure would have been a lot easier with instructions. (FYI after Googling I came up with some in French only, not too helpful but at least there were pictures).Besides that - great couch! I actually bought this after buying the exact SAME Christopher Knight chair, which I love. It's an extremely solid, quality, well put together item. I was impressed (the couch and the chair) with how solid wood the frame is, and underneath the seats is actually a high-quality spring system, similar to what you find in a bed boxspring. Unexpected level of quality esp at this price point. The wood side arm pieces are high quality wood and very beautiful. The couch looks great as a statement piece, very mid century modern and a wow factor.On comfort - unlike other people, I do find this comfortable. Yes, it IS on the very firm side. It's not a lounging couch or one you sink into to watch a movie. But it is very comfortable, just firm.I wouldn't hesitate to buy this again - hopefully with instructions! I hope the seller reads these reviews and will include instructions in all their items that must be put together.

This is great as an office sofa or in a sitting room for adults where you don't need anything really cushy to watch tv on. The build is solid and the design was thoughtful. Very easy to set up. One of the buttons is coming a little loose where I always sit, but otherwise it looks like new! If you want to use this as a regular living room couch, I suggest buying some little sofa pillows and you'll be good to go.A 5ft person could take a nap on this. The bolsters make great neck cushions.

Good looking, very firm but very comfortable; great for relaxing and watching TV, but I like it best for napping on. It arrived a day early, in perfect condition, assembly was pretty quick and uneventful. Only gave it 4 stars because of its country of origin...is everything made there these days?!

Love this couch! Easy to assemble and quite sturdy. Not super cushioned. But great for the price.

I purchased 2 of the sofas in red along with 2 coordinating chairs.I had no trouble putting them together on my own.I absolutely love the way they look. I personally found them to be comfortable but I’m pretty he only person in my family of 4 that does.The sofas are in my sitting room where we journal, read and sometimes do homeschool. This isn’t a place where people are throwing down their bodies to lounge, eat, or nap. You would think they’d be holding great with such light use. Alas no.One month in the seams started to pop on all 3 pieces and all of the cushion buttons were constantly loose. I had to unzip the cushion, remove the buttons, reinforce the seams by hand after adding fabric glue to the shredded fabric, and then rethread the buttons through the cushion and fasten them.Two months in another batch of repairsThree months in and the seams are past the point of repair. I only had rather hideous set of curtains for spare fabric to fashion a temporary cover. My once well appointed space is but a memory. Incredibly disappointing.I truly regret not purchasing a protection plan.

REVIEW UPDATE,I've had the couch a month now and it's growing on me, A LITTLE.The look is great (form over function), so I won't look for a replacement.But it hasn't gotten any more comfortable.I've been thinking that when I get either very inspired or tired of a sore butt I'll replace the seat part of the couch.Until then I've taken a few new pictures...it really does look pretty good.But I must say VERY UNCOMFORTABLE!------------------------Very unhappy with this purchase. The red isn't very red, it's more of a maroon or wine shade… Pictures can be a bit deceptive. This has got to be the most uncomfortable couch I've ever sat on. It's hard as a rock and just kills your back.Also the two wood arms are damaged in a few different places. If this weren't such a monumental pain in the butt to send back to these people and get a refund I would, I think with just the damage alone I would be entitled to one. But there's just no way I would pack this up and ship it back… What you get for buying this kind of stuff online, lesson learned.I don't know who to blame or complain to about the nicked up wooden arms either… Don't know if that's the vendor or the factory it was packed up in, either way they were a mess.Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
